Mark Thomas Valley (born December 24, 1964) is an American actor known for his roles in various TV shows. He gained recognition for portraying Brad Chase in the TV drama Boston Legal, Oliver Richard in the NBC drama Harry's Law, FBI Special Agent John Scott in the Fox sci-fi series Fringe, Christopher Chance in Fox's action drama Human Target, and Tommy Sullivan in ABC's Body of Proof. Valley was born in Ogdensburg, New York, and graduated from the United States Military Academy in 1987 with a degree in mathematics. He served in the U.S. Army, including time in Berlin and during Operation Desert Storm. Valley's acting career began while he was serving in the military, and he has since appeared in numerous TV shows.
