Summer House season 1 aired in 2017, and it's time to catch up with the original cast of one of the best reality TV shows. The show began with single Kyle Cooke setting several rules for the group. One of those rules was that no couples were permitted in the summer house. Lindsay Hubbard broke the rules by bringing her boyfriend at the time, Everett Weston. These OGs have been keeping busy since the show aired. Some are entrepreneurs, while others are influencers. Many of them leverage their Summer House fame to achieve their goals off of reality TV. While much of the original cast won't appear in Summer House season 8, they contributed to its success.
Since the first season, the cast has changed quite a bit, as only three original cast members are still on the series: Carl, Lindsay, and Kyle. Amanda Batula, Kyle's now-wife, did appear in the first season; however, she only had a guest role. She became a full-time cast member alongside Summer House's Danielle Olivera, who is still on the Bravo series. Since Summer House season 1, Carl has remained a full-time cast member. During Summer House season 5, the star learned his brother had passed away after living with addiction and mental illness for a long time. Carl was focused on his sobriety, admitting to Andy Cohen at that reunion that he was 92 days sober. However, he now promotes a canned cocktail brand alongside Kyle, LoverBoy. His former fiancé and co-star, Lindsay, accused him of relapsing, but it's unclear. Summer House season 8 will deal with the fallout of Carl and Lindsay's engagement.

The current Summer House cast member has always focused on his career as an entrepreneur and continues to thrive in the business world today. Kyle started LoverBoy with Amanda, which sells alcoholic cocktail beverages. Kyle works alongside Amanda, the creative director, and Carl; however, his role has been up in the air since his alleged feud with Kyle in the upcoming season of Summer House. In 2018, Kyle proposed to Amanda, his long-time girlfriend. Though their wedding was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the couple were married in 2021. They are happily together and will celebrate their third wedding anniversary in 2024.
