- Are you interested in becoming a comic? Do you need to brush up on your skills? Join us for Comedy 101, where our instructors focus on the basics, and students begin to find their voice and define their style onstage.Our 6-week course reviews topics including where to find material, joke structures, writing skills & stage presence, the basics of crafting a set, and how to be in the moment. The course concludes with a show at West Side Comedy Club, providing students the opportunity to perform their 5-minute set in front of a live audience. Please note: Final Performances are recorded and subject to be used on our social media platforms. Our instructors are all working comics themselves with credits to their name; they can speak directly to the industry as it is today. She was featured at the Montreal Fringe, Minneapolis Fringe, Burbank Comedy Festival at Flapper’s Comedy Club, Provincetown Town Hall and Yass Fest NYC. She headlined at the Diversionary Theater in San Diego, The Magnolia Room in Connecticut, The Rustic Theater in Idywild and numerous national and international Pride Festivals, including world famous Mardi Gras in Sydney, Australia. Mina started her comedy career by accident in Amsterdam when she performed at an open mike. She didn’t know it was a contest and she won! She has been writing and teaching comedy ever since. When she is not on stage, she teaches in the public schools, coaches new comics, and dreams of a day when she will only have one day job. Patricia's comedy was recently featured in The FilAm, a magazine for Filipino Americans living in the US, and her videos "Mom-Lan" and "Pepper Spray Made in the USA" appeared on WhoHaha.Michael tried standup comedy on a dare while a student at the University of Notre Dame. He was soon emceeing Fighting Irish pep rallies and growing 70's style sideburns to do extra work in "Rudy". Upon graduation, he moved to New York City and took a job in advertising but, when his neck became irritated from shaving every day, he re...Michele is a brash New York stand-up comedian. Michele headlines across the country at comedy clubs, corporate events, JCC’s, country clubs and is a popular act for major Cruise lines. Balan went on to appear on The Joy Behar Show on HLN, Byron Allen’s Comics Unleashed, and the OUTlaugh festival on LOGO, the Montreal “Just for Laughs” festival, and “Gotham Live”. One of her biggest thrills, was being one of the top 5 finalists on NBC’s Last Comic Standing 4!Paul has made multiple appearances on “The Late Show w/Stephen Colbert” and currently works on the show. Paul is an Emmy & Peabody Award winner for "The Daily Show w/Jon Stewart."Kevin Bartini is a nationally touring comedian, writer and occasional TV and radio personality. He lives on Manhattan’s Upper West Side with his wife and three cats. After establishing his bona fides in the top comedy clubs of NYC and studying with the Upright Citizens Brigade, Kevin was discovered by Jon Stewart, who hired him to warm up audiences at The Daily Show and The Colbert Report. In the subsequent years, having earned the respect of not only Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert but of their audiences, Kevin became one of the most sought after Audience Warm-Up comics in television. He has been seen warming up audiences for Match Game with Alec Baldwin, The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore, The Opposition with Jordan Klepper, The President Show, Bunk, Debate Wars, TruTV’s Comedy Knockout, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert amongst others. As a classically trained stage actor he has appeared on off-Broadway productions of Cymbeline, Much Ado About Nothing, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Twelfth Night and starred in a national tour of You Say Tomato I Say Shut Up. Kevin got his start in theater in Berkshire County, working with the likes of The Williamstown Theater Festival, Barrington StageCompany and Shakespeare and Company where he also serves as an advisory board member. He garnered international attention over the course of three years while leading a successful campaign to co-name West 121 Street in New York City after his hero, George Carlin. He has made numerous appearances on ABC’s hidden camera show What Would You Do? Kevin can currently be seen in a recurring role of Billy Jones on The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

Brian was recently seen on the big screen in The Secret Life of Walter Mitty with Ben Stiller & also performed in such films as Ice Age II with Ray Romano and Robots with Robin Williams & Halle Berry.
