I think overall teachers do the bare minimum, students get away with anything and everything now a days and normally no action or consequences take place. Recently, teachers seem burnt out and Ive even had 2 different teachers throughout my high school career not teach and just post notes. There are very few teachers that are willing to get to know students on a personal level outside academics.
Burlington high school is a pretty good school in terms of preparation for future college students, I feel as though this school well prepared me for my future, although the guidance counseling department does seem quite forgetful with sending important documents to students colleges they applied to, which concerns me.
I moved to Burlington my sophomore year and I started at Burlington High School, I excelled in math and english because of the staff and courses that are offered. It was a very easy adjustment and I have truly enjoyed my time at Burlington High School.
