Meticulously refurbished when the hotel reopened in 2012, the 150 guestrooms and suites deftly balance the refined elegance of classic European décor with modern comfort and technology, while charmingly retaining the vestige of the station building’s rich heritage and significance. With unique accommodations such as bi-level maisonettes, guestrooms positioned along the Cupola domes of Tokyo Station and the palatial Imperial Suite to choose from, business and leisure guests can be assured of an unforgettable stay at The Tokyo Station Hotel.

Amazing staff and service at a luxury hotel. It is indeed a historical building that I think history buffs would be very excited about. Also, I'd like to especially acknowledge the Chief Concierge, Ms. Marie Antoinette Mori, and a member staff of the concierge, Ms. Miyuki Saito. They are top notch and made the whole experience so much less stressful when planning these trips. I was visiting for a quiet birthday celebration with my friend during one of the few times that we could take a vacation and they helped nail down some tough reservations.

They offer a service to meet you at the train station coming from the airport (Meet and Greet). But what we needed was navigating Tokyo Station to the NRT Express and they do this as well. It's a lifesaver given how busy, labyrinth-like the station is (There are signs to NRT Express but they're not super clear while you're blundering around with large pieces of luggage through crowds of people). The person who escorted us was lovely to talk to and gave us recommendations on our next visit to Japan.

I feel like I missed out on booking the Maisonette room (I booked a Queen room and it was tiny, but I should have known this as they give square footage measurements) and the breakfast in the atrium. These are just notes for me next time.

The room was beautiful with tall ceilings, very quiet, and clean. The bed was comfortable. Award winning small luxury hotel. Grateful to visit Tokyo and experience this.

The hotel is a cultural landmark and has been sympathetically renovated. Rooms have very high ceilings but are generally very small which is common in Tokyo.

Our room was a dome-view room which was very opulent but looked out into the dome vestibule of the station instead of outside and made it somewhat claustrophobic.

The price to stay here was eye watering but it was an experience and being at the station itself, everything was in easy reach and it was perfectly placed for day trips by train.

We didn't try the buffet breakfast as at approx £30 per head, we really could not justify such a price. There are numerous malls within easy reach of the station with a wide choice of restaurants.

We would not stay again but it was an experience we are glad we had.

The Tokyo Station hotel was highly recommended when I was researching for a place to stay, and I wasn’t disappointed. The hotel feels very classic, and the maisonette room was very large and comfortable. Plus the location was perfect - Tokyo station was the perfect spot to go to all the key parts of Tokyo, as well as taking the Shinkansen to other prefectures. Also the staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place to anyone.

The service was excellent, all hotel employees are eager to help and they all speak english well. The breakfast selection is top notch with Japanese and Western food choices and both were delicious. The location is extremely convient as you can get anywhere quickly from Tokyo Station and contains numerous shops and restaurants itself. Our stay was so great, the day after we left my wife said she felt homesick for The Tokyo Station Hotel!

During our stay at Tokyo Station hotel , we were extremely impressed by the personal concierge service of the hotel. Since this was primarily my leisure culinary trip, it was of utmost importance that the concierge was able to reserve restaurant bookings that I otherwise couldn't by myself. And we were extremely impressed by the number of restaurant reservations that they made for us, namely Jumbo Hanare, Sugalabo, Sezanne etc . Marie Antoinette Mori , Ms Etsuko Higashide, Ms Miyuki Saito took very good care of us and we appreciate all that she's done for us.

Truly an unforgettable stay! The hotel has a fantastic location that made it easy to navigate to any of the districts within Tokyo. The staff welcomed us as if we were family and the rooms and amenities are kept in terrific quality.

What really made our more memorable than any other hotel was our interaction with the concierge team at TSH, Marie and Miyuki will do everything in their power to make sure you can visit any of the restaurants and bars that Tokyo has to offer. We were going for a food/drinking tour, with multiple reservations required per day and they were able to secure every single one. I must’ve exchanged over 100 emails over the months leading up to my visit and every modification / request was met with the upmost sincerity.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Tokyo, and would definitely suggest reaching out to the concierge team should you need to secure any bookings!

I got sick during my stay and they took me to a business clinic in the station. The concierge and the bellhop were very friendly and whenever they saw me they were asking if I was doing better. I felt like I got two new Japanese aunts.

The other staff was friendly. The room is very luxurious and the hotel is well located. The Yamanote line is enough to go to most tourist places.

The breakfast is very good and with a lot of things. If you want a cheaper breakfast you can try the nearest Starbucks; there are Cafes near the Bus lines but they only serve breakfast before 10:30 AM.

This is the best hotel coffeeshop in Tokyo but with some drawbacks. In normal times, a reservation is necessary and for a hotel coffeeshop that is a bother.
Regretfully the pricing is ridiculous for most items on the menu but if that is the price I have o pay to keep it, as it is, then, ok, I will.
Still it seems not difficult to understand that instead of asking nearly 2000 yen for a glass of champagne it is better to sell a bottle at 12,000 to 15000 of, for example ,Bollinger or Taittinger as you might actually sell them.
Service is nice but slow, but that is ok, when I go there, I am not in a hurry.

Beautiful, clean hotel with fantastic service. Concierge, Miyuki Saito, was absolutely fantastic. She was extremely helpful in getting us reservations and possesses a great attention to detail. She made our stay there most memorable.

We needed reservations for 8 people and she made our dinner reservations for us prior to our arrival to Japan. Some of our reservations were made from her suggested restaurants and each restaurant selected by her was delicious. She even got us menus so we could preselect our dinners.

Another time, I was looking for a silk flower store and asked her for a recommendation. We had previously googled such a store and our taxi driver was unable to take us there as he could not find the store in question. Ms. Saito looked up another silk flower store, called them to make sure they were open and then printed out directions for the taxi ride there. She is just so very thorough, kind and efficient.

The hotel is immaculate. The service staff are efficient and friendly. Highly, highly recommend as it was centrally located and a very pleasant stay.

Can we open the windows?
Tokyo, Japan
Dear Crystal Khlyr, Thank you for your inquiry. I am afraid to say that all the windows cannot be opened due to the safety reasons. It is strictly instructed by Tokyo Station Management, not from the hotel. We ask for your kind understanding. Please feel free to contact us anytime should there be anything we could further assist. You may find our hotel email address on the hotel official website. Sincerely yours, The Tokyo Station Hotel

Service at this Hotel is so superior, I would expect their taking delivery of tickets to be possible. Definitely email the Concierge first, to alert them and receive instructions.

I would suggest calling the hotel directly with any requests. I sent them an email through their website and didn’t receive a response. But don’t worry, other than this little glitch, the service at the hotel is impeccable! You’ll have a wonderful stay!

Hello, You can email the concierge to request a room closer to the elevators. I'm sure they will be happy to help. I can't include the email in this note, but you will find it on TSH's website (I did). That said, I'd caution to be careful what you wish for. Our room was very soundproof at the TSH, so it might be fine - but in most hotels you don't want a room by the elevator, because the tend to be more noisy, with all the people going in and out.
