ABC’s “Marvel‘s Agents of SHIELD” spinoff “Marvel’s Most Wanted” has cast Delroy Lindo as comic book character Dominic Fortune, Variety has confirmed.

The series, which hails from Marvel Television and ABC Studios, stars “SHIELD” regulars Adrianne Palicki and Nick Blood, who will reprise their roles as Bobbi Morse (aka Mockingbird) and Lance Hunter, respectively. “SHIELD” executive producers Jeffrey Bell and Paul Zbyszewski penned the pilot, and exec produce alongside Marvel TV head Jeph Loeb.

Dominic Fortune was created by Howard Chaykin and debuted in Marvel Preview #2 in 1975. A roguish adventurer, Fortune lived up to his name, seeking wealth as he traveled the globe. He was known to be an excellent marksman and also served as a mercenary and hero for hire.

If it goes to series, “Marvel’s Most Wanted” will be one of several Marvel shows on the network; in addition to “SHIELD,” ABC also airs “Marvel’s Agent Carter” during the show’s winter hiatus, and John Ridley is currently at work on a secretive Marvel project for the network. ABC also gave a put-pilot commitment to half-hour comedy “Damage Control,” focusing on the Marvel cleaning crew, which specializes in dealing with the aftermath of the unique fallout from superhero conflicts.

British-born Lindo is repped by APA. He most recently appeared on ABC’s “Blood & Oil,” and in Alcon and Warner Bros.’ “Point Break” remake.
