What travelers are saying
- Mavrick232Melbourne, Australia131 contributionsIt's a necessary visit but needs to be more clearly explained how to get there and back from Nha Trang and the various types of tickets that can be purchased and where from.
You do need a full day here as there is much to see/do with the cable car ride across and the ferris wheel at dusk being highlights.Written April 23, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The intricate brickwork and carvings on the towers were really impressive, and the whole place had a tranquil and peaceful atmosphere. Being set up on a hill overlooking the coast, we got some seriously stunning panoramic views of Nha Trang! We loved that it was a bit outside the bustle of the city, and it felt like a hidden treasure. It's a great spot to soak up some culture and enjoy the gorgeous Vietnamese coastline.Written April 9, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - DXB_MapleDubai, United Arab Emirates469 contributionsBeautiful waterfall with a moderately challenging trek. We did reach the third level but our 11-year-old stopped at the 2nd level. We had a tour guide help us navigate as the kids found it quite hard in places. Take lots of water. It was very fun swimming in the pools and under the waterfall.Written April 9, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Vera Paunova2 contributionsWhen I arrived the sea was really dirty. They must have cleaned after my first couple of days here and it became a totally different place, hopefully, it stays this way. It's a pity about the kind of tourists it attracts (I literally saw a Chinese man pissing in the middle of the beach and another one throw his wrapper in the water).
Nice and pleasant beach when clean; I just wish the tourists who come here respected the sea (and the people around them) more.Written July 11, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. No entrance fee, worth a look. Beware of people trying to tan onto you claiming they’re students - I could be wrong but it felt off so said I wanted to explore on my ownWritten March 31, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. First of all it was a super hot sunny afternoon, once I get in, the photographer himself invites me in with AC and he instantly puts on his Jazz music, very chill and relaxing while I was enjoying his art work. He’s photographing is very impressive. Meanwhile he’s a very cool person, told me a lot of stories behind those photos. I highly recommend everyone to visit him and his art work in Nha Trang!Written December 12, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Alena RudenkoSamara, Russia135 contributionsOn the day of our arrival I purchased there 2 local sim cards.
And the excursion to the Zoclet beach was very nice!!!
I wish only Russian speaking people who come to buy excursions would learn how to wait when their turn is and would stop interrupting other clients when they are booking their excursions or inquiring for information.:)Written February 7, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Down to the sea, it’s walking path to Hon Chong, fairy stone ( outstanding shape) where yourists, visiyors touch the rock and then make a wish. Upthere next to the house, it’s a open air tea lounge to enjoy the sea and the “hon chong” .Written March 26, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Oscardog16Adelaide, Australia1,839 contributionsA small but interesting museum. Most exhibits have text in English. Dr Alexandre Yersin appears to have been somewhat of a genius. He brought much to Vietnam, and you can see why they made him an honorary citizen. The way finding arrows could be improved so you view the exhibits in the correct order. As you walk in the door on the first floor the first exhibit is the chronology, it is directly in front of you on the internal wall. You move in an anti-clockwise direction around the internal wall exhibit. When you get back to the entry door you start on the exhibits on the external wall and move in anti-clockwise direction. You end up reading his will on the right hand side of the entry/exit door. It took us 1 hour to view the museum. It was 20, 000 VND per adult, well spent.Written March 5, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- viet1Nha Trang, Vietnam10,446 contributionsGood long beach about an hours drive north of Nha Trang. We took the public bus from Nha Trang. Bus is air-con and a scenic drive along the coast. Beach was not busy and you can get inexpensive food. Nice breeze and good for swimming. Much quieter than the main beach in Nha Trang.Written June 25, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Chris OMelbourne, Australia244 contributionsWe arrived early to avoid the crowd as it was a Sunday and the locals flood the area on there day off. The waterfalls were nice and we went for a swim in the fresh water. It was cool but refreshing. The water is only about 1.4m deep so no need to worry about the kids going missing. There is cheap water and beer available to buy at the river. The animal park is very third rate but it’s still worth a look. You get to see sun bears, ostrich, monkeys, deer, pigs and crocodiles. You can feed the crocs which the kids loved.
There are a few reviews that say it’s not worth the money. They are complaining about spending $9 AUS to spend a day swimming in fresh mountain water and seeing some local animals. If $9 is too much then you probably shouldn’t go on holidays at all.Written August 31, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
