Bill Murray: comedic genius, film icon... and now the father of a national champion two times over.

Connecticut assistant coach Luke Murray captured his second national title Monday night, when his Huskies dominated Purdue, 75-60, to become the first back-to-back champions since Florida from 2006-07.

After the game, the elder Murray was captured celebrating with his son—taking family photos and even swiping the national championship trophy and holding it aloft for a solo shot.

Bill Murray—already well known for his sports fandom, particularly of the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bulls and Chicago Bears—has been a fixture at the NCAA tournament for much of Luke's coaching career.

Luke, who attended Fairfield, has served as an assistant for Wagner, Towson, Rhode Island, Xavier and Louisville. With the Seahawks and Rams, he worked under Connecticut coach Dan Hurley.

For the Murrays, Hurley, and the Huskies' legion of fans in the Nutmeg State and beyond, winning is starting to feel like Groundhog Day.
