Have you been experiencing sadness, worry, stress, or life transitions? I believe that life is a beautiful journey, but also filled with important and difficult seasons for us to rethink, refocus, and re-evaluate our purpose for more intentional living. Together, we can better understand the past (family of origin, intergenerational trauma, cultural influences, socioeconomic experiences, etc.), accept the present, and identify empowering shifts in beliefs and actionable steps to repurpose previous thoughts, emotions, and expectations that improve self-image, confidence, and hope for the future.
Since 2007, I have worked with programs providing outpatient adult mental health, ABA/pediatric therapy, older adult day healthcare, and academic counseling for students 18+ with special needs and disabilities. Clients and families have shared that I am a great listener, supportive, non-judgmental, and offer helpful resources and tools.
Being a 1st generation Asian American immigrant has shaped my capacity to understand and appreciate the diversity and complexities of navigating uncertainty. I am empathetic and understanding that life means adapting to life transitions, cultivating identity and purpose, and striving to connect within family, peer, and community systems.
