Michael Tolkien (October 22, 1920 - February 27, 1984) was brother to Christopher Tolkien, Priscilla Tolkien, and John Francis Reuel Tolkien, who were children of J.R.R. Tolkien and Edith Tolkien. He was born in Oxfordshire, and lived in the United Kingdom until his death.
