Castlevania: Nocturne Season 2 Cast

The Creators Have Teased Dracula's Appearance

There has not been any news regarding who will be cast in Castlevania: Nocturne season 2 and the crude animation of the trailer is not particularly helpful in picking out who will appear in season 2. However, directors Sam and Adam Deats and co-showrunner Kevin Kolde teased some of the characters fans can expect to see in season 2 (via Collider). Kolde mentioned one major character who could appear,

"We talk about Dracula a lot. But I think Dracula is one of those things that you talk about a lot because, if you’re going to do it, you’ve got to do it right. His story ended in such a satisfying way. If we were going to go beyond that, it would need super thoughtful care. So, I don’t know. We’ll focus on Alucard and Juste, and continue to have Dracula chats."

If Dracula does reappear, he would likely be voiced by Graham McTavish from the 2017 series. Castlevania: Nocturne season 1 characters who could reappear in season 2 based on their fates in season 1 include, of course, the hero of the series, Richter Belmont (Edward Bluemel).

The showrunner and directors also mentioned Juste Belmont (Iain Glen) without officially confirming him. Other characters from season 1 who should be expected to appear are Erzsebet Báthory Annette (Franka Potente), Annette (Thuso Mbedu), Maria Renard (Pixie Davies), and Mizrak (Aaron Neil). The end of season 1 also saw the return of Alucard (James Callis) from the 2017 show, and he will almost certainly be a part of season 2.

"France, 1792 - the height of the French Revolution. In a remote part of western France, the counter-revolutionary aristocracy has forged an alliance with a terrifying Vampire Messiah, who promises to 'eat the sun' and unleash an army of vampires and nightcreatures to crush the revolution and enslave humanity. Annette, a sorceress from the Caribbean, seeks out Richter Belmont, last descendant of the long-fabled family of vampire hunters, to lead the resistance."

The last episode of Castlevania: Nocturne season 1 sees the arrival of Alucard, who kills Drolta (Elarica Johnson) to save the heroes. At the same time, the vampire Erzsebet, the Vampire Messiah, has unleashed her dark forces in France. Season 2 is sure to see Richter continuing the fight against Erzsebet, now with the added power of Alucard on his side.
