With the sudden appearance of a lot of upscale, new housing in Revere comes the sudden appearance of some great new restaurants. Dryft met all comments I've seen online, from it's delicious, on-point food and tasty cocktails, to an army of roaming people that, at...first glance, appear to be regulars, but are picking up napkins and running food. Complaints that it runs slow, in terms of getting seated, are correct. We called at 5:50 to ask about 7:15. We were told some people were being seated now, and the timing should work out perfectly, but it was too late to make a reservation. We wound up waiting over half an hour (which is not a big deal for a downtown-like bistro with great food). But, you always feel awkward when the hostesses (apparently they need two?) stringently avoid eye contact, and it appears recognized people are walking in and sitting down. All that aside, I would easily return to Dryft, only with a reservation. I had the special, a tuna over spaghetti in putanesca sauce. It was absolutely delicious, flavorful, not too salty (it's typically a salty dish), with perfectly seared tuna. My friend had the chicken fusilli. He seemed to be completely pleased. We started it off with their Mexican street corn, which was tasty, with pickled onions balancing the creaminess of the sauce, and the cheese. Also nearby, Valsos (on Shirley Ave) has opened (and was terrific), adding to the first of the "new" Revere restaurants, D'Amelia's Off The Boat, which continues to be amazing, friendly, every bit a destination restaurant, and yet, fun for locals, with a nice bar scene. Bravo, Revere, and all these excellent new dining options.More

I've been to this restaurant several times and each time I was there the food was exceptional, service excellent too. The restaurant is located in Revere with a view of Revere beach and at the rear of the Blue Line parking garage. On my last...visit I noticed in my bill pay that I was charged $100 more than I should have been due to an error by the server. I called the manager a few days later and explained the situation. He couldn't have been nicer and more apologetic. He took care of it and credited my account. I highly recommend this restaurant, you won't be disappointed.More

Three of us for dinner were equally pleased and full. The menu is not extensive, but every dish we had was very good - appetizer main course coffee and dessert. You could tell each was prepared with care. Only one surprise. My shrimp scampi was...spicy. Didn’t expect that, it wasn’t in the menu. But they immediately prepared the dish without the hot stuff. Yummy. Perfect Spot, across from the beach all with Ocean views. Can’t wait for summer with seating out on the deck. Oh, Leave room for the chocolate Oreo lava with black raspberry ice cream.More

Came in for a business meeting. Food was good but took for ever to get our meal . There where a lot of staff just hanging around . We called manager over because there was a problem with my coworkers food . She was very...nasty and did not accommodate us . I felt bad for the waitress but she still got a decent tip. Manger was a young female who clearly had no concept of food service . I believe Victoria was her name. I will look for another spot to host business meetings . Good service is hard to find . I won’t be back!!More

Really good atmosphere at Dryft- warm and inviting. Especially in the colder temps. The wait staff is friendly and does not rush you. Some tables have view looking out to ocean. The food - crab dip is warm and delicious but the burger was just...okay, it was lacking flavor.More

I’ve been to this place maybe about 5 times and I enjoy it every single time. Their poke bowl is one of the best ones I tried, ceviche is fresh, tuna nachos are amazing also. Portions are generous. Good cocktails and beers. They change their...menu from time to time so there is always something new to try. Really good and welcoming service, love their servers, always happy to accommodate. Great location right by the beach which offers a beautiful view.More

This was second straight year we ended up at Dryft with our very diverse family. We came back bc last year was also good: Top three dishes were Brick Chicken, Mahi mahi and tuna nachos. Pasta dish of gnocchi with short ribs was good, but...meat wasn’t as tender as expected. Service was A+ and we’ll be back next year, if not sooner.More

Great end of job dinner spot. This is where we finished our project end of job party. What a great place. Awesome staff ....from our waitress D ,she was amazing, to the food and drinks that came out.... 20 people and they never missed a...beat. This place is a must try ... all the dishes were excellent. Wish we would have found it sooner. #BuddhaReviewMore

Incredible Meal! Amazing that there were no hiccups -We dined the second night they were open and everything was great! Although we could not enjoy the view because it was dark, the dining area was nice. Incredible food, and the best Octopus appetizer... we have...had a lot of and this one is top tier. Service was great, too!More

We stopped here without reservations on a Wednesday night before our flight out of Boston. We were Told there was a 45 minute wait at 7:00PM but thankfully we were able to get two seats at the bar. We started off with the mussels which...were very good. I had burger which was good and the wife had the clam chowder and burrata which were good. Cocktails were very good and service was very good. Would return.More

Great location. Attentive staff. Delicious food. Had apps and drinks at the bar and watched the place fill to capacity. Great vibe. Finally a restaurant that’s well designed without too much to distract you visually (sorry, occupational hazard). Admittedly I’m a sucker for great drinks...and delicious food WITH a view. For as much coast line as we have we simply don’t have enough waterfront dining options. Until now! This may be my new ‘go to.’More

We came here based on our hotel. We thought the best part was the view, but other than that, it was just average. My entree was huge, the chicken parm, enough for three meals, which is great if the chicken was good, but that was...not the case. The rice with the salmon was tasty. Water should not add 14 dollars to your bill.More

My husband and I had dinner here tonight at the recommendation of our trainer at the gym. Our meal was fantastic, the service right on point and the cocktail, beer and wine list very good. I am currently not drinking alcohol and went with a...non-alcoholic beer (they have one available). I had the swordfish with cauliflower steak, spinach, mint tzatziki. It was superb! I would definitely recommend Dryft and we'll be back to try some of the signature cocktails.More

Wow, what a surprise, food exceptional. We shared oysters and a Brussels sprout salad for appetizers. So many good choices it’s difficult to choose. For entrees we had surf n turf and a fish stew. All perfectly prepared and flavored. The best!! Too full for...dessert. The wait staff was was attentive n pleasant. The food was truly perfection. Drove up from Cohasset to take a friend out for his birthday before flight to Logan. Wish this restaurant was on the south shore.More

Four of us went to Dryft on a Saturday evening. The food was excellent. We sat outside facing the ocean. It helped that the night was gorgeous. Each of us had a different meal and each was great. They were the swordfish, the gnocchi, the...burger and the Earth Bowl. Delicious. The only BUT was the condition of the ladies Room. It was not clean, water all over the floor and a lack of paper supplies. Should be an easy fix but nothing is worse than a bad rest room. I would go again and would expect the problem to be resolved.More
