Florida-based Spirit Airlines (NK) flies nonstop to over 90 destinations in the United States, Caribbean, Central and South America. The carrier flies an all-Airbus fleet which is one of the youngest and most fuel-efficient in the U.S. Planes are configured with Economy Class seating as well as Big Front Seats. This is my first and last time that I fly in this airline, I lost a whole day, I wrote this review while waiting for my flight, my flight was not direct we had a layed over of 1 hour and 50 minutes in Florida, I received an email saying that my flight was changed and the layed over was going to be for 5 hours. After we waited for those long 5 hours, we boarded the plane sat there for 1 hour and we had to get down from the plane because the air conditioning was not working, they changed the plane and supposedly the new time is 1:30 pm hopefully, I'm tired of waiting at the airport since 5:00 in the morning. I lost my private transportation from the airport to the hotel. To top it off the checked bag that we paid for the max weight is 40 lbs, we ended up paying $103 per person for the checked bag and a carry on. They better reimburse my money because I paid a lot of money for the hotel so I could get there early, I already had my itinerary and with this I lost my whole day. I would not recommend this airline to anybody, like I said this was my first and last time using this airline spirit. I won't even give a star if I could I would give minus stars. This airline sucks.😡😡😡well it won't let me submit my review unless I put a star…

This airline is an absolute pain in the rear! Their cyst service is awful and extra charges for EVERYTHING! Might as well have bought a more expensive easier to maneuver airline. NEVER AGAIN!

Bad experience I've ever had. Worst airline in the USA. I traveled from Orlando to Chicago with a backpack, on the way back from Chicago to Orlando I returned with the same backpack, same size and weight and they made me pay $99 because it was “big”. I didn't understand why on the way there no one complained about the size, but on the way back they told me to pay. I will never travel by the Spirit again. I don't recommend it to anyone.…
