I like this version! Up there with the romola garai one… David is right that it does have that sex education/netflix sheen on it, but I really enjoy the production design and the music and the script is pretty tight, although I think they rearranged some stuff so it was kind of weird when Emma was flirting with Frank all while believing Harriet loved him.

truely truely one of my favorite movies. simply is So good and i love it so much, i could endlessly rewatch it. the set design, costuming, food design!!, everything is gorgeous, delicious, and adds infinitely to the dialogue/comedy/satire. the color! the silliness! the indulgences! i love it
the way they portray intimacy in this movie sends me over the moon. the hand-touch in p&p (2005) is fine, but why is no one talking about the end-of-dance bit where she chases his hand as he pulls away from her waist, hello!!!!!!!!
