i put all the songs i could think of sing-shouting in the car to in one playlist - it's a bit wider than just shoegaze per se because it includes some noise pop, nugaze, neo psych etc but I feel like all songs in this playlist share some the same atmosphere.

Cocteau Twins, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Chapterhouse, Lush, Slowdive, This Mortal Coil, Catherine Wheel, and Swervedriver are all solid classic Shoegaze bands. There’s a bunch more that you might throw in from the fringe or later but those are solid. Looks like the list you have is off to a good start!

That’s a good set of songs, but a ton of those I would never classify as “dream pop”. Flips, MGMT, Atlas Sound, Best Coast? There’s too much going on there for the theme.
thank you. I did include neo psych, noise pop and some adjacent sounds but I feel like all the songs in this playlist have some of that special dreampop "feeling" in them which is why i've grouped them together.
