Ben Reed is a Welsh director currently living in London. His music video work for artists like Blur, Michael Kiwanuka and George Ezra was characterised by strong visual concepts and delivered with a dry and absurdist humour in the classic British style.  His first feature film, the documentary Portrait of Kaye, premiered at Sheffield Doc/Fest in 2021, where it won the ‘Special Jury Award’ in the UK Competition.  The following year it was nominated for a BAFTA Cymru.  His commercials for clients such as Ikea, Pizza Hut and T-Mobile bring the deadpan and subtle humour of his music videos to the world of advertising, surrounding great casting and performances with a strong focus on clean set design and intricate set builds.
