[Metro] Metro Fresh2Go Weeknight Specials $6.99 whole chicken or 15 wings or 16" pizza

Monday Night: Big Chicken Caesar Salad
Tuesday Night: Hot Mammoth BBQ Chicken
Wednesday Night: 16" Stone-oven baked Pepperoni & Cheese Pizza
Thursday Night: 15 Chicken Wings, Hot or Cold
Friday Night: Assorted Maki Sushi Boat (18 pieces)

All for $6.99 each. I think the chicken deal is pretty good as I usually grab it from Costco but it's now $7.99

At first I thought I was saving money. After the 3rd try I realized that Costco chicken > Metro chicken any day. I will never buy the Metro chickens again. Costco and Loblaws yes, Metro, hell no.

I wouldn't buy the chicken at Food Basic either.

Best deal is the salad I'd say. I grab that almost weekly.

Never tried the pizza though but I doubt it is worse than Pizza Pizza's pepperoni pizza.

made to order pizza (not this deal) is good. The cheese and pepperoni pizzas are not that great since they really rush them. The kids are happy with these pizzas anyway!

Agreed. The basic pizza is bland, but made to order is great.

+1

the pizza during wed night special is good.

i ask for extra pizz sauce, otherwise it's too dry

crust/dough is nice and decent, great size to fill up and have leftover for the next day.

I have heard the Pizza special is really good. I actually didn't realize they had a different special for each weekday, and saw it in the flyer this week for the first time too. Are these usually available or do they sell out quickly?

They don't really 'sell out' because the pizzas are made to order.

However many times I've gone after 8pm and I've been told I can't order a pizza because they've run out of dough. I assume they will keep making dough up until a certain time.

Personally I prefer the $6.99 chicken days, because the chicken can last 3 or 4 meals.

This.

A BBQ chicken that we pick up at Costco usually last us 3 or 4 meals as well, at least 2 dinners and 2 lunches. Best value for your bucks!

3 or 4 meals? I can sometimes eat the whole chicken in one to two servings.

I prefer the panzerotti for $5. But it really depends who makes it. I find the dudes who work the deli make it better than the women, which is opposite of what you would expect. One day this broad made it so crappy I felt like going back in there and throwing it at her.
