About
Located in downtown Las Vegas, this pedestrian mall spreads over five blocks along Fremont Street. Home to many casinos and hotels—including Golden Gate Hotel and Casino and Binion’s Gambling Hall and Hotel—it's also known for jaw-dropping shows and fun activities, from free concerts to the 12-story SlotZilla Zipline. Come just before evening to catch Viva Vision, a light and sound show that takes place on the world’s largest video screen—an LED canopy that spans 130,000 square feet. To make sure you don't miss any of the highlights, there's a variety of day and night walking tours available. – Tripadvisor

Fremont St is the party scene!
Go here if you are in the party scene. Music is very LOUD & drinks are everywhere for purchase. Wear good sneakers or walking shoes. People are on the street always trying to sell you anything & everything. Expect to be bumped and jostled in the crowd. We took an Uber both ways as it was too far to walk from our hotel.

    It is an experience
No teens only adults. I think this is best experienced in the evening. They had free concerts with real acts. However, the action started in the late afternoon. There were cheap eats to be had. However, that didn't start until 4 pm. If you are going to bring little kids to vegas, this might be a place to bring them.

It’s an experience you can’t miss
We would highly recommend putting this on your must-see list (and if you are lucky, make sure you book the Neon Museum tour before visiting here to learn more about Old Vegas). This is the original Vegas with all the old, classic casinos that older generations remember such as the Golden Nugget or Vegas Vic. This part of Vegas has now been revived and is much more tolerable in terms of walking than the modern Las Vegas strip. It's quite entertaining too as there are great performances and acts throughout the street and when we visited, it also had what they called a Dancing DJ and she was a great DJ. Here is also where you will find the famous zipline and the IMAX-like ceiling which is the first thing you will notice walking into the main area. Again, we would highly recommend visiting here if you can as we were upset we missed all this excitement on our first trip but lucky enough to see it on our second.

Two Older Couples Find Something To Do
Flew in to LV to meet another couple for a 5 day vacation. We decided to checkout this place. Heard about this place a long time ago. It is also that my wife and I haven't been in LV in over 30 years. Cool place to come to for several hours. The area has shop, bar, casinos, and street entertainment. The gigantic TV screen 40 feet above is cool looking. The visual effect and the sound to the visual was cool also. There are at least 4 old time casinos to enter and exit from the street. This area looked like and open container area to drink your favorite beverage. We travel here during the daytime. Would be a little weary to come at night. But will try it the next time I come in a few months.

You don't have to spend money to have a good time
All we did was walk the street up and back. Very colourful, well patrolled and rather crowded if you're still wearing masks. But the street is lit up brighter than a Christmas tree. There is lively music up and down the street and if only stopping to watch for a song or two, it is well worth it. Many lively characters too. We didn't go on the zipline, so unsure of the cost. The smell of marjiuna is a little over powering at times. People were generally respectful of each other, having a good time. Drinks a plenty and casinos everywhere, it was a fun experience. We parked in a nearby parking station for USD $5.00

    Visit to Fremont Street Experience
My wife and I visited Fremont Street on our Las Vegas vacation and enjoyed it…for the most part. We stopped by the Golden Nugget and Four Queens casinos to eat and try are luck. Both were great and we enjoyed the experience. Walking Fremont Street was an experience. There are a lot of cool things to see along the way with many of the entertainers performing. Live music, live vibe and of course the zip line and light show are neat. I would not bring my children to this experience. Some of the entertainment was definitely adult oriented and not kid friendly. There were a number of people staggering around obviously highly drunk or on something. Sleezy to some degree. Overall, we enjoyed a few hours downtown. It’s worth the taxi ride from the strip.

    Amazing Freemont Time.
Amazing, lots to do with live music, food and drink. Felt very safe street performers all have their own allocated areas so no one persists with there pitch. Be ready to have your eyes open with a few risky outfits - just feel ok saying no thanks to anyone. Even we returned on the bus late at night felt very safe

    Nearly 2000’ of Free Fun
The pedestrian only street offers a lot to see and enjoy. There are many street performers doing their acts (drums, balancing, costumed characters, dancers and more). The performers seem to be restricted to circles painted on the pavement. There are also more formal music performers on large stages. The overhead light show on the canopy is visually interesting. There are plenty of drink and food options.

The Lights are amazing. Never saw Anything as Beautiful as that. Just Loved It. Can't wait to go back. We will definitely be visiting Vegas again this Year. We wished it was not so Far from the main Hotels and Resorts that's on the strip.

    Definitely worth a visit!
Fremont Street is definitely worth a visit if you're in Las Vegas. It's got a very different vibe (better) compared to the Strip. There are plenty of places to eat, drink, and listen to music with 3 or 4 live bands playing. The light show was awesome and the soundtrack changed every hour. Leave the kids and pets at home though. It gets more and more "interesting" as the night goes on!

This place was super crowded. They have crazy people all over the Fremont street with weird people dressed in costume. I didn’t have a good time here and just wanted to go back home. Just a weird vibe in this area. The only place that was good was The Griffin bar.

We visited here at night during our trip. The overhead light show is a must see. We walked the street and went in other hotels. The street performers are interesting and definitely out there. Wouldn’t recommend for kids.

My husband and I were here over Super Bowl weekend. We spent one evening on Freemont St. We did quite a bit of walking in and out of the different hotels to play slots and grab beer. They do have convenience stores where you can buy single beers much cheaper than the beer stands and refill your cup.
Quite a bit of street performers on display. Always fun and entertaining. Not recommend to bring your children here at night. We enjoyed watching the people zip line over head.

While standing around and people watching, we noticed how clean the streets were. We discussed how similar it was to Bourbon Street only 100% cleaner.

If your staying in the area, it’s worth your time to check it out. We had a great time.

You need to be prepared for the noisiness, the crowd, and some of the risque street performers. I was only able to do a walk through as I was on a nighttime bus tour. It is interesting and off-putting at the same time. There are tons of restaurants, lots of vendors, and plenty of street performers. Perhaps they had been performing all day, but most of them were boring. As I am not from Vegas, I was horrified to see young girls, some in nothing but lingerie bottoms and pasties on their boobs performing. I am not judging, nor a prude, I wasn't shocked, but instantly disturbed because they appeared to be young girls and not grown women. Fremont Street is truly a bazaar. You can even go zip-lining over the Fremont crowd. Got to check it out at least once.

This was a blast to be a part of. My first time ever to visit Fremont St. The live bands were all amazing. Saw some strange things and strange people. But I guess that's Vegas! Everybody was having fun.

During our recent trip to Las Vegas we really enjoyed our evening down on Fremont Street. The light show is simply amazing, and there were bands playing on both ends of the street that were really, really good. We got a kick out of the street performers, and had some good laughs with our 20-something kids about some of the things we wished we could "un-see." We also enjoyed a delicious meal at one of the Golden Nugget's many restaurants, and had fun playing Keno during the meal. The old casinos are fun, and the slots seemed to be looser than those on the strip. We always make a point of going to Freemont Street at least one night during a trip to Vegas. It's always fun!

A lot of panhandlers, Street proformers, some questionable people on Fremont Street, don’t going to the Whitecastle and less you got an hour to wait for food.

Ceiling screen is the only thing worth a visit to Fremont Street.

Missed Freemont on my first vegas trip, I was really excited to see it this time.
Initially went far to early in the afternoon and it was a bit dull. Once the lights come on though it's a different story.
Lots of crazies, but more important lots of different entertainment. We particularly enjoyed Spandex Nation. Some classic hair rock which made a nice change from the music on the strip. The light shows on the hour need to be seen.

Lot's of signs warning that the drinking rules here are different to the strip, but after a while you realise it is not really enforced. Toilets you need to go back through the casinos which might be an issue for families - also a lot of exposed flesh - which is very good for a 38 year old me, but again might not be for younger families

Total throwback to the Old Las Vegas mixed in with new technology. The zip lines are amazing, and the entertainment zones are a full on blast. There is plenty to do, and when you are full you can walk down the other part of Fremont Street that is not so commercial. Great place to spend a few hours when you are in Sin City.

What an amazing place to visit,so full of life and so full of friendly people,if you visit Las Vegas then you have to take the time to drop down to Freemont Street for the experience of a party central atmosphere,it’s so hard to explain but the feeling I got when I turned the corner on to Freemont was utter bliss and a somewhat giddiness, definitely a must see ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
