Tune in to The Voice tonight (106,457) by Shezz from Pk
Ah. She's gonna premier it on The Voice? Insider has been saying that Mariah is going to perform the remix live to promote it. I hope it's true. I don't care if it's lipped. Knowing Mariah she will want the song to be heard with perfect vocals the first time it's being heard.

Mariah reminder (106,456) by Shezz from Pk
I agree. Unconditional for her always. The soundtrack of all our lives. She got me through some tough teenage years and beyond and I will be eternally grateful. She has enough people in the world mocking her and knocking her to have us turn on her as well.

Where is the remix?

Tune in to The Voice tonight (106,455) by Robert-Anthony from United States
Muni Long is going to perform Made For Me during the star-studded finale Part 2 tonight. Mariah may perform with Muni Long tonight. If she does perform, it would explain why the Tuesday release date and why we are still only hearing snippets today. I heard another snippet on JD's X page with MC's whistle notes and a smooth ooh ooh in the intro before Muni Long comes in with the first verse. MC comes in with the second verse singing new lyrics reminisce of the fast singing she did in WBT second verse. This maybe the remix and live performance we have been waiting for from MC.

Wasn't the Made for Me remix supposed do be released today?

Randy, you made it clear to me why MC wrote Close My Eyes and Outside. She has really been through a lot. Childhood has trauma has a long lasting affect on a person. I am glad she is still here.

My theory about the sudden turnaround with her mother is that she started therapy much later and we all know the first thing that comes up in therapy.

JD, Skillrex and Solange Knowles (106,451) by Robert-Anthony from United States
So I was curious what the insider account had say about MC working with JD again. When I saw my search come on my screen, I saw two names in addition to JD that made me smile. I saw that the insider account said that MC is working with Skillrex and Solange Knowles. I always thought The Distance was MC's favorite song and Skillrex was her favorite producer on Caution. Solange Knowles could give MC that Alternative R&B sound that I have been wanting her to do for a long time. Solange's Crane's In the Sky won her a Grammy in 2017. She also wrote Beyonce's Get Me Bodied. Check out her solo stuff and R&B song credits and see if her sound is a perfect fresh sound for MC.

Mariah reminder (106,450) by Randy from USA
As someone who has been hard on MC about not addressing her voice, I was in my feelings this past weekend and went in listening to her music and rewatched her interview with Oprah in 2020. I forgot all the things she's been through. Being dirty and unkept. The girls calling her the N-word and mulatto bitch. Alison throwing the tea in her face. Alison trying to have her pimped out. Alison offering her coke. Tommy holding a knife to her throat. Her mother having her arrested. Her mother telling her you'll never be as good a singer as me. Yes, I'd like to know what happened to the voice. Yes, I'd like her to stop lipping and start doing things in her current register. But I am glad this woman is still alive and here with us. People have not made it through life going through less. I can't say I'll always succeed but I will try to give MC a little more grace in the future than I have in the past. Lord knows, I will need it when it's my turn to be criticized by people who act as if they're saints. That's all.

Shezz, JD's creativity is hot right now. It would be interesting to see what they create in 2024. I feel the pressure is really on the both of them to create something new and fresh. We will see what happens this fall.

Westchester has mixed meanings for MC. But it was a respite from the pandemic and hopefully has a more positive meaning to her now. Good things come from White Plains, like this ole lamb. Be well.

Excited to hear the remix though I am not expecting it to do much on the charts. It will boost the original's chart position and the remix will not be credited as has happened before. Of course I would love to be proven wrong but I don't think this is MC's return to Billboard just yet. Also, the fact that MC hasn't posted anything about it herself yet, I think shows that she is not expecting much and is doing this as a favour to support Muni Long and for JD. MC is busy putting the final touches on MC16. Robert Anthony you better believe it. She apparently got JD recently onboard to help her finish the album (Insider). I hope she has a proper plan and delays her Christmas crossover to December this year or releases it right after the holiday season and uses that momentum. It will be interesting to see which way she chooses to go.

Muni Long posted another TikTok video yesterday of her being silly and thankful for what is about to happen. MC's Made For Me vocals were playing in the background. She must know that she truly has something special dropping tomorrow with her remix with MC.

Yes, but the songs about her father [were] written after her father had passed away, so when her mother passes away, I would think Mariah will write a song then.

Many artists write songs about their mothers when they are still alive.

Glitter (106,442) by Robert-Anthony from United States
What is real reason why Glitter hasn't been made available on vinyl by MC? Were her masters a part of her huge payout? The original vinyl release is going for insane prices on Ebay. I have the promo copy, but it has a black cover.

Patricia not staying married to Alfred is Tommy's fault. I thought you knew, it's all part of the Truwoman Show. Everybody knows that.

I wonder, does MC blame her mother for not staying married to her father? She has never written a song about her mother. Alfred Roy had one song written about him and an honorable mention in another song.

Yes. I am ready to record it on the syndicated U.S. radio show - Dede in the Morning - Dallas-Fort Worth Texas-104.5 FM (5am-10am). The original is already in heavy rotation during her morning show. Dede and her crew are really funny with their date fails and R&B hip hop news segments. Check her out.

I can understand why they recorded the Christmas duet at the time they did. Mariah was pregnant and as a soon to be mom probably wanted to try and repair her own relationship with her mother. I’ve had friends do the exact same thing with expecting, only to have more fall outs and incidents down the road.

Let's hope so. I usually listen to 181.FM True R&B radio station, and it's one of the most played songs. I'd like to listen to the remix version as often as the original one.

Focusing on specific things don't help to get the whole picture, the way I see it. Five years ago, I used to get along really well with my mother (that doesn't mean we hadn't had our problems before). Two years later everything changed after several incidents and disputes, and I almost stopped my relationship with her. A friend of mine was shocked when I told her. She just remembered how good my relationship with my mother was and how we used to laugh and joke together. But my friend only saw us together a couple of times. I hadn't told her about the negative aspects or past events either. So it was hard to make my friend understand the whole point (also involving other members of the family = my siblings).

To conclude, what I mean is that I guess I understand Mariah in that regard and I feel identified. However, I can't justify anything because I wasn't there, and I haven't heard Patricia's version either. For sure, it would be very similar to my own mother's. Lol. They wouldn't say anything insulting or despicable about us (Mariah and me, I mean), but they would make you think that we are very "special" individuals and excellent at our work, but, at the same time, kind of difficult to deal with. Lol.

I see it the same way. Why doing a duet for Christmas even on the album with her mum, if she's so bad? It makes no sense at all. Personally I wish they are fine or at least okay.

I just feel that on Tuesday radio and social media are going to go crazy over the Made For Me remix. I really feel this remix is going to be bigger than all of the other guest remixes she has done in the past 3 years. Are we ready for history to be made? And summer is coming too. Ooh we-ee.
