Isla Fisher has expressed her gratitude following the news of her divorce from Sacha Baron Cohen, acknowledging the "kindness and support" of friends and fans.

"Thank you for all the kindness and support," the Confessions of a Shopaholic actress wrote in a caption on her Instagram story, accompanied by a photo of her smiling outdoors with a glass of wine. This message surfaces one month after their divorce announcement, ending their 13-year marriage.

She continued, "In 2023 we jointly filed to end our marriage. We have always prioritized our privacy, and have been quietly working through this change. We forever share in our devotion and love for our children. We sincerely appreciate your respecting our family's wish for privacy."

Cohen and Fisher share two daughters, Olive, 16, and Elula, 13, and one son, Montgomery, 9. They tied the knot in March 2010.

Throughout the years, the pair have kept their relationship out of the spotlight. "I get nervous talking about it," Isla told Australian Women's Weekly in November 2022, "because I feel like, by not having my relationship in the public domain and not having spoken about how we met or really talked about our marriage publicly, it's remained something private and valuable to me."

The split surprised fans — as they also celebrated their 20th anniversary in December 2021. "20 YEARS," Fischer wrote via Instagram. "If there ever comes a day when we can't be together keep me in your heart. I'll stay there forever."
