Yahoo奇摩於 2014.09.15 發表2014年「Yahoo奇摩電子商務紫皮書」, "發現台灣網購族中，用手機逛購物網站及APP的比例為44.6%，年成長近30%，已有高達238萬網購人口習慣用手機購物。從調查數據發現，37.1%的手機購物族認為直接掃Barcode/QRcode就可進行比價或購買，會讓他們更常購物。"
