I want a leader who will represent America, and I want someone other than a lawyer to run this country! We need a doctor! Senator Rand Paul’s new book takes a bold stance against the forces of progressivism in both Parties that are ruining our country’s once hard-won liberties. Here’s a guy who is definitely not your typical Republican status quo U.S. senator. He is not interested in doing whatever it takes to keep himself in power, nor is he seeking more political power just for his own ego gratification. (It’s so typical to find these types of Congressmen in D.C., but he really isn’t one of them!) He is only sort of small in stature, but BIG on ideas, intelligence and integrity. If there was ever a reincarnated Founding Father, it was Rand Paul.

The Good Senator’s message is all about how he seeks to heal the country of massive debt and stolen freedoms, including every single freedom guaranteed in the Bill of Rights. He’s not that Republican who only cares about the Second Amendment, but the Fourth Amendment, too, which most Republicans don’t seem to give a rip about. That’s one of the reasons he appeals to me so much. We don’t need to be spied on 24/7 as if all of us are assumed terrorists until the government can sift out the few that actually ARE terrorists. If our Founders ever knew about this infringement on our rights, they would be turning in their graves, as it were.

And, like me, he is a Republican who does care about the environment and preserving the air and natural land we are custodians of. While he is not a global warming alarmist, he knows you can still love the environment and want to protect it without going to the extremes the alarmists go to nowadays. When you live in a state, like mine, that has banned burning wood in your fireplace because it produces supposed pollution, then you have gone TOO far with your agenda. When you classify dirt as a pollutant, which it is not (the EARTH is not a pollutant to itself), you have gone too far.

We desperately need a new, revitalized GOP and Rand Paul wants to be the guy who heads it and steers the entire country into safe waters again. This book is so much more than what I was expecting. If you are on the fence about Rand being a good president, then reading this book will convince you that he is perfect for the job. He is ready and he has all the right ideas at the right time. He is our modern day Founding Father, or as close as we're going to get to having one, and we need someone like him to run this country. The Constitution is his guide and the Bill of Rights is his shield. Only a guy like him can give us real hope again.

A well written perspective from Senator Paul as he was campaigning for the Presidency. He did his best not to make this book into a long campaign speech but it essentially was. I give him credit for calling out both sides of the political spectrum as needed. Although I do not agree with all of his viewpoints, he made credible arguments on topics ranging from the environment to national security. The US Constitution, specifically the Bill of Rights, was the major source of his professional and personal guidance. I personally felt that he was a bit too "by the book". The Constitution was written over two hundred years ago where the world was vastly different and drafted by men who have not experienced the world that we currently live in. In order to protect this country and to foster prosperity, we need to allow some flexibility and cannot live by the book alone.

If you never bothered to learn about Rand Paul or you just want to learn more, this is the book for you. Every American should read it before voting in 2016. Learn about the man, his wife, his life as an eye surgeon, and becoming a Senator.

Rand Paul is no ordinary Politician. He went into the senate with the intention on doing what a senator was supposed to do. That didn't last too long. He didn't want to be one of the cronies who saw business as usual and not stepping on toes as to not stir up trouble. Rand Paul was going to stir up Washington. He began to do things as he saw the people wanted him to. He would fight for the people who had voted for him; for their rights. He would be the man he was, even as others were aghast at his determination to change the way the system ran.

He would fight for, against what others would back him on, 'Term Limits'. He would fight against what Lobbyists had been doing all these years and what the Senate thought was 'going with the flow'. He would fight to 'Audit the Fed' and change what career Politician's had been comfortably going along with.

I cannot give away the whole book but I will tell you that I laughed and cried. I hugged the book as Rand came to life in my heart. I know that he is no ordinary man. Rand Paul stands for people in all walks of life. He actually has the courage to change this country and the big government that has gone out of control and become much too complacent with the way things are 'suppose to run'. Rand Paul will get rid of the corruption because his beliefs do not hold on to the old ways. He is a man for the future.

Rand Paul is more than just a man running for President of the United States. He is a man who the people have a chance to vote for once in a lifetime. He is the man who will bring America back to Her glory. Make no mistake, read this book and join me in rejuvenating the energy people get when they are voting for a change that truly is for the betterment of the people. You will Stand With Rand because Rand is 'Taking a Stand'. He is our hope for the future. Rand Paul is the hope for America.

Read this book and 'Stand with Rand' alongside all good people who care about the future of this great nation.

What makes our country great are the freedoms and liberties we all share. Our ability to create new businesses, new ideas, new ways of making life better all come from our personal liberties. The more free we are as a people the better off we all will be. But, when government controls us, when government hampers our ability to provide good education to our children, when government stymies our ability to help each other we all suffer.

Dr. Paul's book examines some of the most common problems we face as a society and offers thoughtful ways that we can improve the lives of every day Americans. While you might not agree with his perspective on different issues such as the War on Drugs, or eliminating the Department of Education -- at the very least you can see these issues from a new point of view that you just might agree with.

Whether you are Republican, Democrat or Independent -- I think it is important to read books like this that are honest, intellectual discussions about how we can continue to improve our country and make all of our lives better. Kudos to Rand Paul. Keep voicing your opinion and being a leader for American Liberty.
