Well maintained beautiful cemetery. We stopped on a Sunday afternoon, the visitor center was closed, but we were able to drive or walk around. Great views.

I had the opportunity join a group tour led by Denise, who not only answered my many questions about the building after the tour, but also took me into additional spaces that were not covered by the tour itself. The building is well-maintained, and judging by the work going on on the exterior dome, may warrant a return. Some highlights of the tour included appearances by Gov. Beshear and Rocky Adams, in addition to seeing the Rotunda, Governors Meeting Room, and House and Senate chambers.

This was a nice spur of the moment find. We actually got bourbon truffles for free. I highly recommend you stop by this little candy store if you have a sweet tooth.

This wildlife education center is exactly what it says it is - and it's incredible! Great for the young and older, it IS handicap accessible, and you'll need about 2 hours to experience everything. Great number of things to see and do both indoors and out. Go and enjoy!

Was here on a Sunday so only able to walk around outside. Beautiful; building in a sleepy little town. Hope to come back when it is open to see the inside.

If you are looking for a guided tour of Kentucky’s historical, political and military history- let me tell you about the BEST I’ve ever experienced. We toured all three of these museums and each had such a friendly and knowledgeable guide. Each brought the history alive. We highly recommend it! Roger - our guide to the old capital was especially informative and interesting!

We went for a quick peek at the clock after touring the Capitol. The groundskeeper was watering it so we didn’t take much time. He graciously stepped away for our picture.

The Grand Theatre provides a smaller, more intimate space than many newer theatres. Seeing the Vienna Boys Choir in concert here really added to the experience!

We took four kids, ages 10-13, to the sculpture garden. We weren't sure exactly what to expect but it was more rugged than we thought. We have been to other sculpture gardens that have had paved paths. This is large fields with the sculptures placed pretty far apart. So be prepared for a walk and wear appropriate foot wear. There is a little visitor center (pretty much a shed) where you can grab a map and a scavenger hunt. The kids did enjoy it but just don't expect any frills and I would take sunscreen and water with you. Also, we went because it was on our way back from a State Capitol tour. I probably would not make a trip just for the Sculpture Garden. Plan to see a few other things in the area too.
