Asia Jaya LRT station is an elevated rapid transit station lies in Petaling Jaya and was opened on September 1, 1998, as part of the line's first segment consists of 10 elevated stations between Kelana Jaya station and Pasar Seni Station. Asia Jaya station is located on the southern edge of Petaling Jaya's Section 14 and can be seen along the Federal Highway. Asia Jaya station is currently named after the former Asia Jaya shopping complex, which was converted into the Armada Hotel later during the 1990s, on the opposite side of Jalan Utara.
It is linked to three buses that conveniently used by visitors to go around Petaling Jaya and neighbouring towns and cities such as Kuala Lumpur and Kelana Jaya. It is owned by Prasarana Malaysia from 2002 until present and consists of 2 platforms. There are also free parking bays available at the station and nearby convenience stores.
From Kuala Lumpur city centre, it takes around 20 minutes to reach Asia Jaya LRT Station by using Syed Putra road and Federal highway.
You can take trains from KL Sentral or Pasar Seni LRT Station and access to any station throughout the Kelana Jaya line. Visitors also can take komuter and change line to LRT line to access Asia Jaya LRT Station.
