Can I say “yes” to the question “ are you legally authorized to work in this country” if I need a work visa?
I have a student visa for now and in the future I’ll need a work visa to work there. Can I still say Yes to this type of questions? There’s no place to explain “ I have student visa but I need work visa in the future” section. If I say no, I’m scared they might reject my resume.

To work on campus, you need to:
Have a valid F1 student visa
Agree to work no more than 20 hours a week during the term
Be fully registered for the next semester before you are allowed to work full-time over the holiday periods
Agree that this job does not take away a position that could have gone to a US resident.
There are many jobs available on university campuses, including working in the library, in the cafeteria, the campus store, assisting your academic department and even working as a tutor. It is best to speak to your international student office to find out what roles are available to international students and to help you with any questions you might have about on-campus work.
What type of work can I do off campus with a student visa in the US?
There are two types of work that international students can complete off campus: optional practical training and curricular practical training.
International students with an F1 visa are allowed to work off campus in optional practical training (OPT) to get work experience during their studies and after the degree is complete. To undertake OPT, you must organise permissions from both the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and your university’s international student office.
I’m in Europe :,)
It will then depend on the country you are in

Most countries allow students on a visa to work part-time, but some countries place restrictions on the amount of hours visa-holders can work.
All this information is easily found using google.
Edit: As your previously posted resume indicates you are in Hungary
Can I Work in Hungary With a Student Visa?
Yes, you can work with a Hungary student visa. EU students can work without limitation in Hungary, whereas non-EU international students will need to obtain a permit.
Students from third countries holding a residence permit for studies can engage in full-time occupational activities during their studies for a maximum of 24 hours per week and outside their study term for a maximum of 90 days or 66 working days per year.
Thank you.. I can work part ti legally but I’m applying full time this time.. so I wanted to say yes to that question and don’t wanna seem dishonest either
They will check your status so they will find out.
You can say yes as you do have a valid visa to work. But be aware that they will check it and you will most likely be rejected because either you arent able to work the required hours (its a full time position for a reason) or they might not be able to sponsor you in the future. If you say yes and will be invited to an interview it's best to be honest about it from the start so you don't waste their and your time.
'Europe' is not a united country with identical laws. You need to get at least to the country level.
