1Mark Grayson/Invincible - Steven Yeun
Amazon Prime/Getty Yeun, who plays the show’s main titular hero Invincible/Mark Grayson, is one of the hottest names in the industry right now, having landed an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor for his turn in 2020’s excellent Minari. That’s far from his first rodeo, as he’s been building stardom in recent years through appearances in movies like Sorry To Bother You, Burning, and Bong Joon-Ho’s Okja. Invincible marks a reunion between Yeun and the show’s creator Robert Kirkman; his first big role was as Glen on AMC’s Walking Dead. He’s going to appear in Jordan Peele’s next horror movie (due out in July 2022) alongside Daniel Kaluuya and Keke Palmer, so, yeah. That will rule.
2Nolan Grayson/Omni-Man - J.K. Simmons
Amazon Prime/Getty Simmons, who plays Omni-Man/Nolan Grayson as a powerful hero with a secret, is one of the most recognizable character actors in the world, and is an Academy Award winner for his unforgettable and intense role in Whiplash. He’s no stranger to the world of superhero movies, having recently appeared in Zack Snyder’s Justice League as Commissioner Gordon, and, of course, playing J. Jonah Jameson in the Spider-Man movies.
3Debbie Grayson - Sandra Oh
Amazon Prime/Getty Oh, who plays Debbie Grayson, the wife of Nolan and mother of Mark, is one of the best actresses working today, having won Golden Globes for her roles on TV in both Grey’s Anatomy and, more recently, Killing Eve. She’s also recently done some significant voice work, appearing in Netflix’s Over the Moon and Disney’s Raya and the Last Dragon.

4Amber Bennett - Zazie Beetz
Amazon Prime/Getty Beetz plays Mark’s girlfriend, Amber, and has been on a tremendous hot streak ever since her breakout role in Donald Glover’s Atlanta on FX, where she plays the character Van. Beetz has also appeared in Netflix’s Easy and Jordan Peele’s Twilight Zone. She’s also clearly no stranger to the superhero genre, having played roles in Deadpool 2 and Joker.
5William Clockwell - Andrew Rannells
Amazon Prime/Getty Rannells is new to the superhero game, but already basically a veteran in the voiceover game. Fans of Big Mouth—definitely the best animated comedy on TV, and possibly the best comedy overall—will certainly recognize that Mark’s best friend, William, shares a voice with Big Mouth’s Matthew, one of that show’s best characters. Broadway fans will also recognize Rannells from his role in The Book of Mormon, and TV fans will remember his breakout role as Elijah on HBO’s Girls.
6Cecil Stedman - Walton Goggins
Amazon Prime/Getty Goggins, who plays Invincible’s version of Nick Fury in Cecil Stedman, is a busy man these days. A TV veteran remembered for his classic role in dramas like The Shield and Justified, Goggins has also recently expanded his repertoire to include R-rated TV comedy in HBO’s excellent Vice Principals and The Righteous Gemstones, and family comedy in CBS’s The Unicorn. Goggins is also a frequent film actor, becoming a favorite of Quentin Tarantino’s over the last decade or so and also playing an MCU villain in Ant-Man and the Wasp.

7Donald Ferguson - Chris Diamantopoulos
Amazon Prime/Getty Diamantopolous provides the voice of Donald Ferguson, who’s basically like the Waylon Smithers to Cecil Stedman’s Mr. Burns (except we don’t really think either of them are evil). He’s done lots of voice work through the years, but perhaps his greatest role was as the Mark Cuban-esque Russ Hanneman in HBO’s Silicon Valley. His greatest line is an obvious one: “This guy FUCKS!”
8Damien Darkblood - Clancy Brown
Amazon Prime/Getty Damien Darkblood, sort of a mix between Watchmen’s Rorschach and Hellboy, is one of Invincible’s most interesting characters, and Brown’s deep tones are perfect for him. Brown is a voiceover veteran (he voices Mr. Krabs on SpongeBob Squarepants!), but is also a well-established character actor in his own right, playing memorable roles in Lost, Starship Troopers, The Shawshank Redemption, and Billions.
9The Mauler Twins - Kevin Michael Richardson
Amazon Prime/Getty Richardson’s deep voice has been a staple in animation since the early ‘90s, and he fits in perfectly with Invincible as the villainous and constantly cloning Mauler Twins. Richardson provided his voice to movies like Lilo and Stitch and has voiced superheroes like Martian Manhunter through the years.

10Art Rosenbaum - Mark Hamill
Amazon Prime/Getty Ever heard of him? Luke Skywalker himself plays Art Rosenbaum, the tailor to the heroes and a friend of the Grayson family in Invincible. In case you didn’t realize, Hamill is probably just as well known for his voiceover work as Star Wars these days, having most famously voiced The Joker in Batman: The Animated Series and several other related projects.
11Robot - Zachary Quinto
Amazon Prime/Getty Quinto goes full Spock here to play Robot, the leader of the New Guardians of the Globe who seems to have at least a couple secrets floating in his background. Quinto is probably best known for his role in the Star Trek movies, but he’s been in plenty more: American Horror Story, Heroes, Big Mouth, and way more .
12Atom Eve - Gillian Jacobs
Amazon Prime/Getty Jacobs voice fits perfectly with Atom Eve, another new Guardian of the Globe and a close friend of Mark Grayson. She’s best known for her role in Community, but has also been in Girls and Judd Apatow’s Netflix series, Love.

13Rex Splode - Jason Mantzoukas
Amazon Prime/Getty Another Big Mouth crossover! Mantzoukas' always-recognizable voice is again used for a cocky jerk character, this time the superhero Rex Splode. He’s known for Big Mouth, yes, but also a ton of other comedic roles, including The League, Parks and Recreation, and even an appearance in John Wick: Parabellum.
14Dupli-Kate - Melise/Malese Jow
Amazon Prime/Getty Jow, who most recently goes by the name Melise, plays Dupli-Kate, another member of the new Guardians of the Globe led by Robot, also including Atom Eve and Rex Splode. Dupli-Kate can make multiple versions of herself. Melise has been in the CW’s Flash show, and also MTV’s Shannara Chronicles, and also had a role as a teen star alongside Emma Roberts in Nickelodeon’s Unfabulous.
15Black Samson - Khary Payton
Amazon Prime/Getty You may not recognize the name of Khary Payton, who plays Black Samson—in many ways the Invincible version of Iron Man. But Payton is a veteran of this form, having provided the voice of Cyborg in Teen Titans and Teen Titans Go! (among other programs) since 2003. He also performs the voice of Aqualad in Young Justice and currently works with Kirkman as King Ezekiel on The Walking Dead.

16Titan - Mahershala Ali
Amazon Prime/Getty If you thought the voice of Invincible’s recurring and thoughtfully fleshed-out villain, Titan sounded familiar, then… job well done. Because Titan is voiced by Mahershala Ali, who’s won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor twice in the last five years. Ali is still probably best known for his role in Moonlight and the early seasons of House of Cards, but he clearly has some sort of affinity for comic/nerd culture; in recent years, he’s also been in Alita: Battle Angel (an action epic based on Manga from the ‘90s) and Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse. At some point in the next couple years, he’ll play the titular vampire hunter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s take on Blade.
17Machine Head - Jeffrey Donovan
Amazon Prime/Getty Burn Notice fans may not have recognized their man’s voice through all the distortion, but Invincible’s first big crime lord villain was voiced by Donovan. Donovan is best known for his longtime role on Burn Notice, but has also appeared in both Sicario movies and did a great job in Season 2 of FX’s Fargo.
18DA Sinclair - Ezra Miller
Amazon Prime/Getty Another Invincible villain—this one kind of in the ‘mad scientist’ variety—was DA Sinclair, a genius grant recipient who decided to play with nature by turning human beings into cyborg hybrid soldiers. Wild stuff! Anyway, he’s voiced by Ezra Miller, who’s a familiar name to superhero fans everywhere, playing the DCEU version of Barry Allen/The Flash. Miller has also been in a number of other great movies, including The Perks of Being a Wallflower and We Need To Talk About Kevin.

19Allen the Alien - Seth Rogen
Amazon Prime/Getty Rogen has clearly got the bug for superhero subversion comics, as he’s now made cameo appearances in both Invincible and The Boys—both series he and partner Evan Goldberg are executive producing. Rogen’s character here feels very on brand: a sort of goofy, galaxy-training alien who Mark runs into fairly early on when learning his powers. Rogen and Goldberg are also developing a live-action movie version of Invincible—something that already sounds very, very fun, especially considering what we’ve seen them do in live action with The Boys.
20War Woman - Lauren Cohan
Amazon Prime/Getty So far, the original Guardians of the Globe—which include the following six members of the cast—have basically been cameos. And they’re all unified in a unique way: they’ve all been cast members on Kirkman’s The Walking Dead. Cohan, who plays Maggie on Walking Dead, plays War Woman, obviously the Invincible version of Wonder Woman.
