Mariposa Gazette earns pair of first place honors during 36th annual Gruner Awards

The Mariposa Gazette won a pair of first-place awards last week at the 36th annual George F. Gruner Awards ceremony which took place on the campus of Fresno State University.

The awards were for entries written in 2023.

The newspaper earned top honors in the editorial writing category for its opinion about the dysfunction of the John C. Fremont Hospital District board.
