Betty Lavon Noland, age 89, of Lily Avenue in Irvine, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at the Marcum & Wallace Memorial Hospital following a short illness. She was born March 29, 1934, in Irvine and was the daughter of the late Everett and Maggie Muncy Woolery. She was a homemaker and a member of the White Oak Church of God. She had lived in Estill County all her life. She is survived by:
1 daughter: Ellen Stotts - Richmond
2 sons: Phillip (Connie) Noland - Irvine
Tim (Kim) Noland - Irvine
6 grandchildren: Jessica (Chris) Noland, Morgen Noland, Christian Noland, Olivia Stotts, Ava Stotts, and Evan Stotts
2 great-grandchildren: Lydia and Waylon Noland
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Obie Noland, 1 sister, Bethel Witt, 2 brothers, Tracy and Ronald Woolery, and 1 grandchild, Obie Jarrod Lee Noland.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 22, 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Glyndon Woosley and Bro. Larry Frymyer officiating. Burial will be at the Dunaway Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Funeral Home.
