Many actors make sacrifices on set for the projects they've committed to. And in a lot of cases, they take risks to help further their careers. At the same time, most actors (and would-be actors) have personal limits in terms of what they will and won't do for a role.

So just how much was Chris Evans willing to risk for his career?

It turns out, he agreed to a questionable scene in one of his very first gigs, and he doesn't regret it.

Chris Evans' First Real Role Was Awkward

He did have a few minor parts before his first epic on-screen moment. But it was 'Not Another Teen Movie' that really put Chris Evans out there. Of course, it wasn't without sacrifice.

Though he's sustained on-set injuries in other roles, this one was uncomfortable for a different reason. In 'Not Another Teen Movie,' Chris Evans dons whipped cream and a strategically placed banana for a scene.

Given the nature of the movie, the scene wasn't exactly out of place. But how does Captain America feel about that old footage now?

Chris Evans Isn't Embarrassed At All

Fans might think that Chris Evans would regret his earlier role, especially given his notoriety today. But the actor had a healthy perspective on the awkward gig, and it's pretty refreshing.

But, it's notwhat almost made him quit acting -- far from it.

Rather than slamming the film or saying he regretted appearing with his whipped cream and banana 'fit, Evans admitted that he doesn't mind the aftermath of the zany scene following him around even now.

The actor said he was "just so happy to be on a job" that he didn't even care about the awkwardly placed banana. Even seeing the movie today, Chris says he was earning his stripes, so it's all good.

Not All Of Chris Evans' Early Jobs Were Embarrassing

Though the whipped cream outfit is something Chris reflects on with a laugh, not all of his earlier gigs were embarrassing. In fact, Evans started out as a model, wearing Abercrombie, he explained.

Even though Abercrombie may not be super cool today, the wardrobe options were likely far more preferable than the ones on the set of 'Not Another Teen Movie.' Not that fans have a preference either way -- both visuals are OK in most of their standards.

The movie itself did pretty well, too. On the heels of tons of bad teen films, it took all those stereotypes, wrapped them up in a hilarious package, and made a name for itself on more than just Chris Evans' nude scene.
