If you own a TravelWifi Hotspot and you want to learn how to change the password of your portable router / hotspot, here are the steps to follow depending on the model of your device.
Note that your Wi-Fi SSID (Name) and your default password can normally be found on a sticker at the back of your device.
If you've changed your password and you don't remember it, check this article to perform a factory reset and restore your default SSID & password.
Sapphire 3 / Sapphire Power: / Sapphire S2 :
- Connect your phone/computer to your TravelWifi CloudSIM router.
- Once connected to your CloudSIM router, go to your browser and input 192.168.43.1
- Click on "Manage My Device"
- Input "admin" as username and "admin" as password, then "login"
- You should now see your Wi-Fi SSID and Password and edit
- Click "Save" when done.
- Turn on your Sapphire 5G device
- Click on "Name" or Password" on the screen of your 5G device
- Click again on "Name" or "Password" depending on what you want to modify
- Introduce the "Name" or "Password" and validate
- Connect your phone/computer to your TravelWifi CloudSIM router.
- Once connected to your Cloud SIM router, go to your browser and input 192.168.88.1
- Click on "Manage My Device"
- Input "admin" as username and "admin" as password, then "login"
- You should now see your Wi-Fi SSID and Password and edit
- Click "Save" when done.
Sapphire Touch :
- From the main screen, tap the main module (where the remaining data is displayed)
- Tap SSID / password section
- Input your preferred SSID or password > tap "OK"
- Tap "OK" again at the bottom of the screen
- New SSID and password should now be displayed on the main screen
