Topeka High School Reviews

The first time I visited the campus I absolutely loved it. The architecture of the building itself is beautiful. Now coming up on the end of my senior year I can say with pride that I am a Topeka High Trojan because the school spirit is unmatched. The people such as the administration are super helpful and just amazing. Though there could be some improvements made I think in general it's an amazing school.
Topeka High School is a wonderful school paired with a few major problem areas. The most distinguishing aspect of the school I have spent the past four years at is our eye-catching architecture, specifically our bell tower. I encourage anybody to either look up a picture and tour of our school or visit if you are able to see our campus. Topeka High is diverse in all aspects; racially, economically, politically, and many more which is why I am forever grateful to have been fortunate enough to spend my life here. Topeka High reveals it's fault when displaying their academic and college/career-ready area. The faculty at Topeka High is outstanding but the content being taught is sub-par. We as students are not given the proper tools to be ready for our future. This may partially be because we are a title- 1 school, but that is no excuse. We have to go out of the way to be informed about how to apply for college and are able to beat around the bush to get decent grades.
I love going to sports games and events. The energy of Topeka High is amazing, and the school is so beautiful. Although, it feels that some of the teachers don't help or care as much as they should and they don't prepare us for college at all. I like that there are college and AP courses you can take towards the end. They have lots of rules for all of the students and it feel way too controlling. It does help with attendance though.
