In an update on the shootout that occurred outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan's residence in the early hours of Sunday morning, CCTV footage of the alleged suspects fleeing the scene has now leaked online.
Video footage that has now gone viral on social media handles shows two men in helmets on a bike zooming off around a curb. According to police reports, two unidentified individuals on a motorbike opened fire outside the Bollywood star's residence at around 5 am.The perpetrators were seen firing four rounds outside the Galaxy Apartments, of which one bullet hit the actor's wall.

The Crime Branch and a Forensic Team, equipped with ballistics experts arrived at the scene shortly after the incident and uncovered at least one bullet mark on the gate of the building entrance during their examination.
According to onlookers, the two men, on the bike were seen fleeing the site soot after firing the rounds.
According to reports, authorities have been scanning CCTV footage in the area to identify the shooters and ascertain their motives and intended targets.
According to reports, sources close to the investigation have disclosed that the firearm utilized in the shooting has been identified as a 7.6-bore gun. Additionally, police analysis has provided insight into the physical characteristics of the suspects, indicating an approximate height of 5.8 feet for both individuals.
A significant step in the investigation involves the seizure of Digital Video Recorders (DVRs) from all CCTV cameras positioned outside Khan's residence and the surrounding areas.
While suspicions point to potential involvement with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, authorities are yet to confirm these reports.
Reports state that Salman and his family were present at home during the attack. The Khans were home following Ramzan Eid celebrations early this week. While the actor has been receiving multiple death threats over the years, this is the first time that assailants opened fire at his residence.
Salim Khan, and the actor himself have been receiving death threats, most notably from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang following the 1998 blackbuck poaching incident in Rajasthan. The threats have taken various forms, including a threat note discovered by Salim during a morning stroll in 2022, warning of a shooting much like that of Punjabi rapper Sidhu Moose Wala.
After the threats, Salman was granted Y+ security. In February 2024, the security cover was extended to his family members as well, following a fresh threat received in November 2023.
