Crystal Palace player ratings vs Wolves, one man gets 5/10 as Michael Olise stars in 3-1 win - We are Palace

Crystal Palace’s excellent run of form continued on Saturday against Wolves in yet another dominant win, here’s how each player played.

Oliver Glasner watched his side go six unbeaten on Saturday afternoon during a brilliant win over Wolves, which sees the Eagles move up to twelfth in the table.

Michael Olise starred, scoring and assisting to hand Crystal Palace a strong 2-0 lead at halftime.

Jean-Philippe Mateta was also among the goals once again as has become customary these days.

In the second half, Wolves pulled one back but Eberechi Eze then made it 3-1 thanks to an Olise assist.

The win is just the latest in a long line of impressive outings for Palace which now stands them four points behind West Ham in ninth.

Here’s how the players rated in the game and spoilers, they were absolutely excellent.

Dean Henderson – 6

Dean Henderson was solid once again, if not remarkable. Losing his clean sheet drops him down to a 6, but he’ll still be happy with his performance as Palace continues unbeaten.

Nathaniel Clyne – 6

Again, like Richards, Nathaniel Clyne wasn’t bad, but clearly, it is an area which needs to be strengthened for next season.

That being said, he did well and we have to remember that he’s in an unfamiliar position.

Joachim Andersen – 7

The main man in defence, Joachim Andersen was rock solid as he captained the side against Wolves.

After hinting he’s going to stay this summer during the week, he’s shown why that’d be an excellent move.

Chris Richards – 6

Chris Richards didn’t have his best outing but he wasn’t bad either, which means a 6 is probably fair for this outing.

Daniel Munoz – 8

Daniel Munoz is fast becoming one of the regular standout performers and he was incredible again against Wolves.

Both up and down the pitch he’s been top-tier and deserves to be right up there with his rating.

Will Hughes – 6

Wil Hughes only lasted 15 minutes before being withdrawn through injury but hardly did anything wrong in that time so he deserves his rating of a 6.

Adam Wharton – 7

In central midfield, Adam Wharton was once again top-class as he dictated play, did his defensive work so well and even grabbed an assist as he set up Olise’s opener.

Tyrick Mitchell – 7

Tyrick Mitchell wasn’t at his electric best such as the performance we saw at Selhurst Park, but he was still excellent in a defensive manner.

He won seven duels in the game and no doubt played a key part in keeping Wolves from making a comeback.

Michael Olise – 9

It was yet another special performance from Palace’s main man as he scored, assisted and basically assisted another although uncredited, to continue right where he left off on Monday.

Probably the best player on the pitch with his goal being a thing of beauty, another to add to his growing list of excellent goals.

Eberechi Eze – 8

Eze wasn’t quite at the level of his two attacking peers but was still impressive nonetheless.

Eze still created a handful of chances and also scored the third goal for Palace in the game.

Jean-Philippe Mateta – 8

Like Olise, Mateta continued on exactly as he left last time out as he scored another goal, making it 13 in the league this season.

Mateta continues to impress and blow us away with his contributions, considering few saw him as capable six months ago.

Naouirou Ahamada – 5

Having come on for Hughes early, Naouirou Ahamada struggled to prove his worth to Oliver Glasner and also picked up a red card late in the game to spoil what chance he had of starting the final game next weekend.

Odsonne Edouard – 6

Like a few others in this game, Odsonne Edouard did nothing wrong, but just wasn’t great, showing why Mateta is firmly ahead of him in Glasner’s plans.

Marc Guehi – 6

Didn’t have much to do today having been a 70th-minute substitute, but was the performance of a player still working his way back to fitness.

Jeffrey Schlupp – N/A

Jeffrey Schlupp was an 88th-minute substitute and didn’t do enough to be graded.

Joel Ward – N/A

Like Schlupp, Joel Ward was a late substitute and just didn’t do enough.
