Vicky Kaushal reveals that he had alcohol with Idli and Sambhar for the scene with Paresh Rawal in 'Sanju'

Vicky Kaushal played the supporting character Kamli in the Ranbir Kapoor starrer 'Sanju'. Recently, he remembered some interesting tales about working on the film. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film was based on the life of actor Sanjay Dutt.
In an interview, Vicky revealed that he had a little to drink before shooting a scene with Paresh Rawal. Speaking to Pinkvilla, he also revealed that he went to Gujarat by himself for a few days and stayed at a lodge next to the railway station for three days.Five minutes away from the station, there is a lane where diamond traders operate. He was stunned to see people selling diamonds on the footpath. That’s when he realized how rich some people in our country are. Adding that he included some of those hand gestures in his performance on set, Vicky joked that he got this from some random guy he stalked in Surat.
Recalling his scene with Paresh Rawal, Vicky said that on the day of the shoot, he got a little drunk to get the scene right. It was a night scene, but they shot it in at 9 a.m. So, along with his idli and sambhar, he had a little to drink.
'Sanju' was released in 2018 and appeared as a massive hit. Vicky will reunite with Hirani this month on the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer 'Dunki'. He will be seen in the biopic Sam Bahadur, directed by Meghna Gulzar. The film will be released on December 1.
