Cypress Bay High School Reviews
Rating 4.31 out of 5 1,798 reviews
Cypress Bay High School is widely recognized for its exceptional academic programs, diverse student body, and rich extracurricular offerings. The school fosters a supportive community and boasts a dedicated faculty committed to student success. With a strong emphasis on college preparation, Cypress Bay offers a range of Advanced Placement courses, competitive sports teams, and acclaimed performing arts programs. Students often speak highly of the school's vibrant atmosphere and the myriad opportunities available for personal and intellectual growth. Overall, Cypress Bay High School provides students with a comprehensive education that prepares them for future success.
My experience at Cypress Bay High School has been good overall. They allow access to a vast range of college courses and extracurricular courses which allow for people to experiment with certain career choices. As a result, this positively impacts the students as they can get an idea of what they are interested in and what they want to do. The changes I would like to see at Cypress Bay High School is the cut down on security because it creates a very harsh environment when students are stopped by security guards. Also, I would also want to see students being given more help in applying for colleges. A college counselor is present to help aid students if they have questions but for the most part students are on their own with figuring out how to apply to colleges and how to write their college essays.
My four years at Cypress Bay High School have been an incredible journey filled with memorable experiences and personal growth. One of the best aspects of my high school experience has been the strong and lasting friendships I've formed, both in and out of the classroom. Engaging in extracurricular activities has been another highlight, and being a part of the Cypress Bay volleyball team has been a particularly rewarding experience. Representing the school on the volleyball court has not only allowed me to develop my athletic skills but has also provided me with a close-knit team environment. The lessons of teamwork, discipline, and perseverance learned through playing on the volleyball team have been invaluable. Academic achievements have also played a significant role in making my high school experience fulfilling. Excelling in classes, taking on challenging coursework, and receiving recognition for my accomplishments have been sources of pride and satisfaction.
