My overall experience with Clarence Senior High School has been amazing. Ever since freshman year, I have been able to participate in different clubs and outside activities to create new connections with people. I’ve taken advantage of the opportunities high school has offered to me, such as community service. Being involved in my community has opened my eyes to how impactful I can be, and I enjoy bringing happiness to others through each act of service. My best experiences would have to be the prom and homecoming dances. The week of, we held our annual spirit week where everyone participates; when the dance finally came, it felt like the night could go on forever. Another experience I loved was the faculty basketball game. It was fun seeing the teachers I’ve built bonds with compete in a friendly game. Aside from this, it was nice knowing I could have connections with my teachers. The football games were great, too. The memories I’ve made throughout high school I will always cherish.
My experience with Clarence High School has been superb! The teachers are so passionate which makes me want to learn even more! Unfortunately, some students at the school are horrible people and are bullies. They affect how every other student is treated so teachers don’t have as much trust in good students. The bathrooms are a problem, students take advantage of that privacy. But that is only talking about very few students. I am very glad I am involved with Clarence High School! The opportunities they offer us in the arts are amazing!
Personally, I had an alright time at clarence though COVID messed up many possible experiences I could have when I was just starting out. Besides that, they did provide many activities eventually to keep us involved as well as very specific classes for those who wanted to go into a certain field as well as provide a variety of those courses.
The school is also highly protected in terms of security, though the Hall Monitors could get very annoying at times, in which at some time they would follow you into the bathroom to make sure you weren't doing anything suspicious.
