Short-term counseling for long-term connections

Our goal is to provide healing and resilience for couples and adult families via concentrated Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).

Our approach

Dr. Allison Fagan and Dr. Colby Srsic are among only a handful of psychologists in Ohio who have earned the credential of Certification by the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT). This means that you will be working with a doctoral level psychologist with specific expertise in this research-validated approach to helping couples in distress. They have each been practicing for more than 20 years, and have considerable experience working with couples through their careers. With over 100 hours of rigorous training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), their accelerated sessions model will equip you with the tools needed to repair your relationship.

For more information on the model they use, visit www.ICEEFT.com or read this article, published by Psychology Today, as well as research “EFT” (emotionally focused couples therapy) developed by Dr. Sue Johnson. Additionally, this link takes you to a great short video explaining EFT.

Providing you with a safe space

Privacy and confidentiality are assured in your work with Drs. Fagan and Srsic. All scheduling and communication happen directly with them and not through a receptionist or other third-party service.

Both Dr. Fagan and Dr. Srsic have significant training and experience working with people who identify with a minority status. They recognize the importance of culture and context. You can expect respect for your courage and life experience.

Office locations

All sessions are primarily in person as this is how our therapy model works best. However, the need for telehealth services can be discussed in our initial consultation.

Dr. Fagan meets with clients just north of Uptown Westerville at 670 Meridian Way.
Dr. Srsic’s office is located in the heart of Old Worthington at 633 High Street.

Not only are we centrally located in Ohio, but we are within an 8-hour drive for 46% of the U.S. population and a non-stop flight from over 40 major U.S. cities.

“Ninety percent (90%) of couples who go through EFT significantly improve their relationship. 70-75% no longer fit the criteria for relationship distress following treatment. Compare that to a 35% success rate for the next leading couples therapy.”
