Your presence is my life expanded my boundaries on how to live a full life while supporting those people and causes that speak to me and support our global community. I met a Steve in the summer of 1967. We were incoming freshmen at The University of Texas. We became friends almost instantly as we both had a passion for sports. I went back to Kansas City after college and Steve was in Eugene. That distance did not prevent us from maintaining our friendship. Over the years a group of our friends would meet in Austin. It was always a great pleasure to see Steve and catch up on our respective lives. He touched so many lives and accomplished a great many things. Even as we were separated by the years and the distance between us we were good friends. Steve will be missed by so many , but love for him will continue. He will be remembered by his fraternity brothers, the Phi Sigs, his friends from all over and his family. `Dorf´
