- Yoko consistently explores her quest with expressive music, as vehicle, the ideas go beyond music. I'm not sure why this album is listed as "numbered". The Discogs photos don't show a numbered copy. There is a download card which has flower seeds imbedded in it (this is the card which is purportedly "numbered"). Well, stupid me, the card features one of her pen and ink geometric drawings on such a nice card stock, that I didn't want to bury it and give the flowers life.
Is this Yoko's humour? Like the Grapefruit book, full of conceptual art exercises. Is this a statement of comparative beauty in a passing flower V a solid artwork / investment not to be touched? The "numbered" / seed-impregnated card; your choice: Keep the valuable numbered card (which isn’t numbered in my case), or bury it, to bring forth fresh flower life.
I will be planting mine this year. It’s quite old now. A few years after the album’s release, so there is a bit of mystery as to whether the seeds will grow and what will they be . . . - Another fantastic album by Yoko. I'm glad so many prominent artists and open minded people love her so much. She's truly a beautiful human being. No wonder John Lennon loved her so much. I dig her music and always have!
