Inkoo Kang Village Voice Don's fears of death and the futility of his accomplishments are the natural extensions of the show's meditations on the mid-century American Dream. And yet this is territory the show has already trod over several times with Roger. Apr 1, 2015 Full Review Will Dean Independent (UK) One of Weiner's greatest achievements is to make something as banal as a firm pitching to advertise fast food (or a camera, or a cigarette, or whatever), seem worthy of the viewers' tears and devotion. Jun 16, 2014 Full Review Genevieve Valentine AV Club Mad Men's seventh season has done some of its best work so far by leaning on its own weighty past. Rated: A- May 27, 2014 Full Review Tony Black Cultural Conversation Season 7 provides a bittersweet but hopeful capstone on a series which essays, often remarkably, a period of American history that remains resonant today. jorge l I started Watching it for a class at university, but soon realized it Was much moore, it Was counterculture and creativity and loneliness, and historia, all mixed up With great characters and direction. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/24 Full Review Vicky B Mi serie favorita. Esta serie lo es todo. La mejor construcción de personajes que vi. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/10/23 Full Review IsMackinac N This is the best work that these actors will ever do. I've been an account man my entire career, and I can testify that they really didn't miss the mark in the slightest. Every character was played beautifully, and the way they shared the screen kept me watching. It was like a time machine, transporting viewers back to 1960's New York. You can smell the cigarettes, bourbon, and anxiety as you watch them make their way through the advertising industry's wildest decade. Favorite series of all time. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/29/23 Full Review Donald D It amazes me that some of the episodes and characterisation can be so formulaic. Then without warning move to beyond brilliant and that brilliance more than makes up for any misstep. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/27/23 Full Review Peacemaker Excellent TV series. Thoroughly engaging and one of the best TV shows I have ever seen. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/02/23 Full Review Caio S Crítica ao mundo rotineiro de um executivo estadunidense durante os anos 60. Obra muito sútil ao fazer o esforço de reproduzir o pensamento e a estética da época. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
