Khloé Kardashian and Lamar Odom Will Be Legally Single in Less Than a Week as Divorce Is Finalized

After a rocky relationship — and two divorce filings — Keeping Up with the Kardashians star Khloé Kardashian and Lamar Odom's divorce has finally been finalized

After a rollercoaster of a relationship — and two divorce filings — Khloé Kardashian and Lamar Odom‘s divorce has finally been finalized.

According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE, Kardashian and Odom’s marriage will officially end Dec. 17. On that date, their marriage will be legally terminated and both parties will be restored to status of “single persons.”

Of course, Kardashian is far from single. The 32-year-old star is currently in a hot and heavy romance with Cleveland Cavaliers star Tristan Thompson, 25.

The two, who first started dating in early September, have been spotted exchanging PDAs — and spent Thanksgiving together. She regularly flies out to support him, even flaunting his NBA championship ring on social media.

Kardashian first filed to dissolve her marriage from Odom, 37, in December 2013 — but the divorce stalled for almost two years while the two tried to work on their relationship and Odom was hospitalized following an overdose ina brothel. The reality star reinitiated divorce proceedings in May.

Court documents show that both waved spousal support and will be splitting profits from their dissolved production company, Khlomar, equally. Their prenuptial agreement, signed in October 2009, will be honored. Kardashian’s legal name will also be restored back to her maiden and professional name.

The reason for the divorce was listed as “irreconcilable differences.”

Odom, who suffered a near-fatal overdose in October 2015, has been living in Los Angeles and “seems to be in a good place” according to a source.

“He knows he needs to be in a good place to stay healthy,” the insider previously told PEOPLE. “A lot of what happened last year is a blur for Lamar but he knows he almost didn’t make it. There are so many people still rooting for Lamar — he’s a good guy. But it’s been very hard for him to keep his demons in check. He’s had a hard life.”
