San Dieguito High Academy Reviews
Rating 4.33 out of 5 514 reviews
At San Dieguito Academy, the teachers and staff truly make the environment inclusive, welcoming, and fun. The wide range of STEM classes allowed me to explore my interests and refine what I want to study in college. Aside from personal experience, SDA has so many elective options that there is truly a pathway for everyone. The availability of clubs, school events, sports, arts, and classes truly makes for a well-rounded school, all the while being accepting, flexible, and catering to each individual student's needs.
San Dieguito Academy is a great high school. It is unique from others in the sense that it embraces uniqueness. Furthermore, it is constantly changing and evolving to be the best it possibly can with new and improved buildings and resources. The 4x4 schedule is efficient and prepares you for college. However, it is supposed to be a smaller school but they keep accepting too many students.
San Dieguito Academy's culture is to be a welcoming community for everyone. While as with any high school, it's not perfect, I've found that a lot of different types of people find friends here. It is known for being a theater school and it doesn't have cheer or traditional football. It has many other sports offered and they perform well.
