Good, great games to play here and stay, too. The parking lot, bus pick up area, and the bridge extensions, everything is great. Have great food selections as well. Very closer to the beach and boardwalk. - Boomer Adventurist6 contributionsNothing good to say about Harrah's anymore. All of the places to eat closed at 8pm on a thursday night. Except for 1 burger place that closed at 9pm. There was also a 24 hr bistro trype store that was open. Because they were the only place open late they charged double comps. So that ham sandwich that cost $15 cash would be $30 in comps.
Top the night off with the automated parking gates malfunctioning creating a half-hour jam up to leave the parking garage. Blackjack boss raised the table limit with a full seated table from 15.00 to 25.00 we all got up and left. Craps were fun and guys working the table were too! All resturant service was on point and food was delicious. Some hicups when we arrived as rooms were not joining as requested. - James BNew Hope, PA12 contributionsWe are traveling by boat and stayed at Farley's Marina at Golden Nugget Casino. The marina was great but the price of dockage is high for transient boats. We are here for a wedding and events weeks before n after but the marina didn't care n charged top rate
You can get a seasonal slip cheeper then staying 6 weeks on E dock.

Always packed and entertaining but sometimes too crowded if there is an event at the concert hall. Drinks at the concert hall are way too overpriced and weak. - tonysherrie29Alliance, OH13 contributionsSpent 3 nights. Had a really good clean room. Had two bathrooms. Only negatives for bathrooms were sink was too small. No place for toiletries. The. There is a half door on shower so water would get out. Shower pressure is not that great. Was nice having two bathrooms though. The bathrooms are a bit dated but clean. Same with room. The bed was extremely hard!
We were on the 10 th floor. Room 1037. Great ocean view! Overall, not a bad stay and would come back.
The casino has some nostalgic games which we love! The double dragon is our favorite. They have a nice high limit room. It was a bit smoky on the weekend. Didn’t like that. When we went, it was quiet. - LuluMatawan, NJ49 contributionsHad a fun time during our stay in Ocean. Nice facility, but the rooms (x2) we booked needed a little upkeep. For a newer facility, the furniture in the rooms were chipped and had stains on carpet. Otherwise, beds were comfortable and clean. A few restaurants to choose from fine dining to casual. We went to villain and Saint, which had a great live band and was a nice surprise. The casino was fun with a lot of options from slots to tables. Also, walking distance to everything on the boardwalk. We liked the resort cause it was situated on the end where it wasn’t so loud and busy. Enjoyable day out, like it used to be a few years ago. The ladies who helped us at the prize counter were so nice and helpful to my child when he was picking out his prizes. I told my adult children not to get their hopes up based upon the reviews I had read but I won dinner for 4 at a first aid auction and we decided to use it.
The food was a buffet and met our expectations as it was tasty, fresh and unlimited. I had the prime rib which was cooked perfectly as well as potatoes , a salad and deviled eggs. My wife and children also had a chicken dish (a little spicy), seafood medley and dessert. We all loved the food.
Some of the complaints I read might be related to the availability of buffet choices but the facility only has about a dozen tables so a huge buffet does not make sense.
Also, although our meal was free, the price is normally $49.99 which is expensive but you are paying for the view of the track from your table and the availability of window seats when you are done eating.
There is a betting window in the restaurant that makes it quick and convenient to bet and there was no line all evening.
Drinks were priced on par with area restaurants. Service was a little slow as there was only one server we could see.

The place seems very friendly, relaxed and safe for kids. Plenty of TVs, but food choices very limited. Rough crowd with plenty of cursing and lack of civility.
