Liverpool FC has more than 300 Official LFC Supporters Clubs (OLSCs) across 100 countries worldwide.

The Reds' fanbase is famous for its passion and loyalty, cheering on both Jürgen Klopp and Matt Beard's squads whether on Merseyside or watching from afar.

Our We Love You Liverpool feature aims to bring supporters closer together to learn more about each other wherever they are based around the globe.

Whether in the UK and Republic of Ireland, on Merseyside itself, in North or South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia or elsewhere, fans provide the very foundations that the club is built on.

Here, we meet OLSC Japan…

Tell us about the OLSC...

OLSC Japan was founded with only 28 members in February 1995. We have grown since then, and now have 328 members currently.

How special is it to have the supporters club where you are?

The supporters club makes us feel that we are a member of the LFC family, even from so far away.

It must give you a sense of community and connection to Liverpool and the club itself?

It really does. We feel that we are connected to the club and the city. It gives us a sense of pride because we feel that we share values of LFC.

Do you hold meet-ups for games, or any special events throughout the year?

We often hold meet-ups for games and we also hold charity events twice a year, during our end-of-season and Christmas parties.

Has the OLSC ever visited Anfield?

Lots of our members have visited Anfield. It is always a special experience for anyone to make the trip. They enjoy not only attending the match, but also joining the stadium tours and doing shopping at the club store. Lots of them also donate food to Fans Supporting Foodbanks and they say they feel they are connected to the local fans and the city by doing so.

Lastly, if anyone else is interested in joining your OLSC, how would they go about doing so?

They would just need to fill in an application form online, which can be found on our website, and pay the members fee, which is ¥2,000 (about £11).
