ON THE NORTH SHORE. I THINK SKIES WILL BE PARTLY TO MOSTLY CLOUDY. WE HAVE COOLER TEMPERATURES IN PLACE RIGHT NOW, AND WHAT WE’RE TRACKING IN THE WEATHER IS A VERY GOOD CHANCE FOR RAIN NEXT WEEK. AS A MATTER OF FACT, A COUPLE OF VERY GOOD CHANCES FOR RAIN. OUR TEMPERATURES NOW CLOSE TO 70 DEGREES ON THE NORTH SHORE. WE’RE AT 71. IN SLIDELL, 70 IN GULFPORT, 72. THE CURRENT TEMPERATURE IN BATON ROUGE FEELS PRETTY COMFORTABLE OUTSIDE. 73 IN HOUMA HAVE A NICE BREEZE AT ABOUT 15MPH. HERE ARE YOUR CURRENT CONDITIONS AT LOUIS ARMSTRONG INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. DEW POINT AT 56. I’M SHAKING MY HEAD BECAUSE THIS MAY BE THE LAST WEEKEND WE HAVE DEW POINTS IN THE 50S UNTIL NEXT FALL. 74 DEGREES. THE TEMPERATURE WITH THAT EAST TO NORTHEASTERLY WIND. THERE 15MPH. AND YES, IT IS GOING TO BE A LITTLE BIT BREEZY TODAY. THERE’S THE COLD FRONT TO THE SOUTH OF US. IT’S GOING TO COME BACK AS A WARM FRONT. MOST LIKELY SUNDAY NIGHT INTO MONDAY. THAT’S GOING TO BE ONE FACTOR FOR FOR US. WE’RE ALSO GOING TO HAVE SOME UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCES MOVING THROUGHOUT THE STATE, BRINGING US A BETTER CHANCE FOR RAIN. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN TODAY, THOUGH. YOUR HIGH TEMPERATURES SHOULD BE IN THE LOW TO MID 80S. VERY COMFORTABLE, PARTLY CLOUDY, MOSTLY SUNNY, VERY NICE, LITTLE BIT BREEZY THEN TONIGHT THE CLOUDS GETTING A LITTLE BIT THICKER IN THE COMPUTER. MODELS ARE ACTUALLY PICKING UP ON A LITTLE BIT OF RAIN. THIS IS GOING TO BE THE FIRST OF THOSE UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE IS BRINGING US A CHANCE FOR SHOWERS. FIRST THING IN THE MORNING SUNDAY. OKAY, WE’RE PICKING. UP ON A LITTLE BIT OF RAIN, BUT BY NINE 10:00 WE THINK THAT RAIN SHOULD BE DONE MAKING IT A MAINLY DRY AFTERNOON. IT’S GOING TO BE A LITTLE BIT WARMER. NOTICE THE WINDS FROM THE SOUTHEAST EAST. SO IT WILL BE A LITTLE WARMER AND A LITTLE HUMID. NOW LET’S GO FROM SUNDAY NIGHT INTO MONDAY MORNING. STARTING TO SEE THE RAIN INCREASE HERE. NOW WHERE EXACTLY IS THE HEAVIEST RAIN GOING TO BE? STILL KIND OF EARLY FOR US TO TELL, BUT HERE WE ARE MONDAY MORNING, PICKING UP ON SOME PRETTY GOOD SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS THERE FOR THE NORTH SHORE. NOT TO SAY THE NORTH SHORE IS GOING TO BE THE ONLY AREA THAT SEES THAT RAIN. WE MAY BE SHIFTING THAT RAIN AREA A LITTLE BIT FARTHER SOUTH, A LITTLE FARTHER NORTH. OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS. IT’S STILL A LITTLE FAR OUT FOR US TO GO AHEAD AND PINPOINT EXACTLY WHO’S GOING TO GET THE HEAVIEST RAIN, BUT THEN MONDAY NIGHT INTO TUESDAY, ANOTHER CHANCE FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. AND MONDAY NIGHT INTO TUESDAY, SOME OF THE STORMS COULD BE A BIT ON THE STRONG SIDE, SO IT’S GOING TO BE A WEEK THAT WE’RE CHECKING WDSU FIRST. WARNING RADAR VERY, VERY RELIGIOUSLY. PARTLY CLOUDY, BREEZY AND LESS HUMID TODAY. ENJOY IT. HUMIDITY. STAYING ON THE LOW SIDE TODAY. STILL ON THE LOW SIDE TOMORROW. LIGHT BREEZE FOR US TONIGHT. YOU’LL WAKE UP IN THE 60S. LOW 60S ON THE NORTH SHORE AND THEN TOMORROW MOSTLY CLOUDY, BREEZY, A FEW ISOLATED SHOWERS, MAINLY IN THE MORNING AND THE CHANCE FOR RAIN IS OFFICIALLY ONLY A 20%. SUNDAY NIGHT INTO MONDAY. THAT BETTER CHANCE FOR SHOWERS MAY HAVE SOME HEAVY RAIN AS WELL. THEN TUESDAY WE HAVE A CHANCE FOR RAIN AS WELL. MONDAY NIGHT INTO TUESDAY IS WHEN WE COULD SEE SOME OF THOSE STRONGER STORMS. WEDNESDAY LOOKS TO BE THE DRY DAY OF NEXT WEEK AND THEN ANOTHER CHANCE FOR RAIN COMING INTO THE FORECAST BY THURSDAY AND FRIDAY. THAT’
