Every year, Mercer creates a list of the world’s best cities to live in. They gather information and survey 241 cities from September to November annually. What do they look at? Three things. The cost of living, how eco-friendly the city is in terms of air pollution, traffic, and more. Mercer compares all these factors to New York City to calculate a “quality of life” rating.
