well we have achivements named after tcm2 and they cant add those things beacuse this game is prequel to the first movie
I have no love for TCM 2
While I agree it takes the cheapest direction when compared to the first film, which is a masterpiece. I see it more as an 80's cheesy horror flick, its a guilty pleasure for me, but just like Ghostbusters 2, I can see why people don't like it.
I imagine they currently have the rights only to the first movie is why.

They have confirmed that they are still trying to get the rights to the second movie but currently, no success whatsoever
