I am the co-founder and curator of the Washington Waterfront Underground Railroad Museum.

Washington Waterfront Underground Railroad Museum is actually a living library.

When you go into a regular library, there are lots of books that you can read, but here at the Underground Railroad, we become the stories of the people that you would actually read in books.

What we do, we showcase the lives of Freedom Seekers trying to self emancipate.

It's important to share the work with this community, because the Underground Railroad was truly a community of people helping people.

These stories are so important to tell, and they become a part of our community today.

When we understand how we can work together to make life better for someone else, we are replicating the legacy, the history of the Underground Railroad.
