Chantilly High School Reviews
Rating 4 out of 5 554 reviews
Chantilly High School provided a wide range of academic and extracurricular opportunities, fostering a vibrant learning atmosphere. The school offered diverse classes and clubs to cater to students' interests, and some teachers showed remarkable dedication to their students' success.
However, the school faced challenges such as vandalism, vaping, and frequent class skipping, which disrupted the learning environment. Additionally, some veteran teachers struggled to connect with students and deliver effective lessons, impacting the quality of education.
To address these issues, implementing stronger disciplinary measures and providing targeted professional development for teachers could enhance the school's overall effectiveness and ensure a safer, more supportive learning environment for all students.

I really like the availability of sources given to all the students and parents. I moved to this highschool this year from westfield High which is just about 10 minutes away. I see a clear difference in the community that is built here and how motivated many of the students are. Of course there are clearly going to be a few cons about food and general opinions but in the broad spectrum this school is an excellent school when it comes to advanced academics and courses. This school also offers a governors stem academy which allows students to get certification courses for many classes such as nursing (which i am enrolled in right now), cybersecurity, pharmacy, stem design, oracle, robotics, PTOT, med assistant and many more courses given here.
I think that Chantilly does a very good job at preparing students for life outside of high school. Even if college is not on your path, Chantilly offers students many other opportunites through are academy. However, this school really struggles with teachers and administrators. For example, many teachers do not follow grading deadlines and often leave students waiting many weeks or even months for some of their most important grades. Furthermore, some of the administration at this school is put in place for the sole benefit of the adults in the school and does not take into account students' points of view. For example, currently half of the school bathrooms are currently shut down because administrators cannot manage them.
