Well, it took time, but this one is a big improvement in the series: better soundtrack (organ-driven by Piero Piccioni), sexiest girls, higher class OSS 117 (John Gavin, of "Psycho" and "Imitation of Life" fame), a much classier villain (Curd Jürgens, and he is assisted by George Eastman !) lengthy dialogs in English and Italian (besides French of course), less tepid direction ... The beginning looks exactly like an Italian poliziottescho, with cops in Fiat cars etc. John Gavin has even his nude scene (and he is on the level) and a medical examination by a female doctor ... Everything looks more classy and big budget ... at least if you don't watch too closely ; a pity the series stopped there, but when you have seen them all, it is a most welcome surprise and final bang.
